How can you say that is a dumb statement and then follow it up with yet a statement just as that.

He didnt mention anything about being cool, dope, bling, or "dank shit yo" so get the fuck off your high horse.

He was saying the club was compassionate and hooked up there members with free meds MONTHLY, nothing about how cool they are.. HE SIMPLY SAID THEY WERE SAFE AND COMPASSIONATE.

:dueling:

a patient complained about safe operations and you and the dumb one spout more stupidity. SAFETY FIRST.

""maybe if you got a goody bag and the great deals compared to other clubs you would feel differantly."

you can shove that cookie up your ass if the place isn't safe and i'm going to get jacked.

I truly hate to see any provider get busted BUT NNCC had it coming. The last time i went there it was just a joke. The way they ran their business was very risky and very unsafe for those that went there.

I hope that everyone that works there is okay regardless of my own thoughts though. As ReelBusy1 said below - "no one should go to jail for cannabis"

Can you elaborate on what was risky and unsafe about it?? I've never been there...just curious--

I must've missed the part where he suggested "a goodie bag" would sway ones opinion about the place being "not safe"

I didnt reason the person he was talking too, I read the quote you quoted.

dumb statement bro. very dumb. it's about safe access not being cool, dope, bling, and hookin' you up with the dank shit yo.

He still didnt say anything about being cool, dope, or bling...but he DID give his experience about the place being SAFE.

I've been there plenty of times, always SAFE, but this is just my experience.

It is in Reseda, how safe can you expect it to be?? They have cameras around the entire building, security guard at all times, big metal doors, the worst part is walking to your car but that is unsafe for anyone.

What is your experience with the place??

oh I forgot.

I'm gonna catch shit for this but if someone feels unsafe then why just because it is in the name of cannabis does that make everyting okay or hope that the ones who make you feel unsafe are okay?

IMO this is a problem.

What does having the feeling of being unsafe have to do with the place in the first place? I know I go to plenty of places that I don't necessarily feel safe but that isn't the business's fault. I mean if you walk in and it looks like the budtender is going to shoot you that is one thing, but if you are talking about the neighborhood or whathaveyou then that is a completely different story.

I would prefer to keep my feelings on this at the PM level, ill shoot you a PM in a few. At the rate the shit is flying around in here, this thread is gonna get locked.

I cant totally respect your point man. And to some degree you are right. I had lost faith in NNCC a while ago but regardless of how they run their day to day operations, the people who got arrested and carted off tonight do not deserve to be treated like criminals for the distribution of marijuana. Now if they were crack dealers, or meth dealers, maybe i would feel differently.

I do agree with you, this is a problem. Someone else said that they walked into a coop and felt like the budtender was going to shoot them. I felt that way down in Long Beach once before and never went back to that coop. This is just a small example of how the MMJ system in California needs to be cleaned up. Im glad the lawas were passed but they are so vague that people are abusing the fuck out of them and making the MMJ scene look like a joke. I joined a grassroots group in San Diego and feel that is the way this really needs to move forward, the coops that are there today (NOT ALL OF THEM, trolls be gone now) are not helping the overall mmj scene.

Edit - johnnyla, dude, i tried to + rep you but ive maxed mine out for the day. you got some good points man. and the "Compassion Mafia Martyr's" had me laughing. Thank god we are not on WT right now.... we would be banned in .00003 seconds for this thread there.

and of course because the "compassion mafia martyrs" those who are all talk come out and will not let you post why they weren't safe because that would make everyone look bad.

that's the kind of logic and reasoning that has LA in the mess it is and why most places are closing soon.

it's one thing to be pro cannabis, and another thing to be so blinded by ideology that we let anyone doing anything cannabis related to be protected from criticism.

unbelievable.

that place was my #1 even though it was a 200 mile round trip.

it was like a fortress there. you people that didnt feel safe probably parked around the corner because you were to cheap to feed the parking meter right out front.

Im assuming your in SD then. I know plenty of people that did that trip up and back weekly.

And for a matter of fact, you are right, i did park around the corner. It had nothing to do with a parking meter and at most losing .50 cents. My second trip up there I passed by and saw a LAPD across the street taking photos of the store front. Needless to say that was a wasted 200 mile trip cause there was no way in hell i was going in there. Sorry man, you may not pay attention to what is going around you but I do. I told the security guard about it on my next trip up.

maybe if you would have tried some of their amazing edibles you wouldn't have noticed or cared about the LAPD taking photos across the street. ;). (i'm being sarcastic).

I will have to say, about the cops taking pictures thing...I don't think I have ever heard of a Patient being arrested buying meds...even if the raid happened while they were in there..they always let the Patients go--

I'm Confused i thought the DEA wasn't allowed to raid places anymore that were in legal compliance.. per the obama memo on the 20th..

and having the LAPD having your pic on file when your from dago is?????????

Been there, done that, I'd be smilin' also.

When they raid they got your name so what's the difference.

I ain't never seen an LAPD officer outside my house down here in SD.

its a sad thing to see nncc go but it makes sense that they hit them first being that they are one of the most popular co-ops around

HAHA.. i actually have tried their stuff. I will give NNCC that, they had some damn good products. Out of all the times I went up I can think of only one batch of meds that I was really disappointed in. They had "gold rush" and i tried it out and liked it. Talked to the guy and asked what the linage was and goes "ow dude, its just outdoor train wreck".... :bashhead:

That really bothered me then when i got home, I was pulling some buds apart to roll a blunt and there were dead bugs amongst the buds! I found 2 total, and yes that's not much but still, its the principle.

That was fed priority. locals can do whatever the hell they want.

How exactly do you know they were in compliance?

Do you just assume all 800 D's in LA are in compliance?

locals maing. DEA only assists locals now from what i've heard and read, and what the FEDs have said themselves as far as current policy.

this was probably LAPD which means they had probable cause, warrants, evidence, probably snitches (who get stitches by the way) cash, who knows.

this was not a "Zoning violation". this was a criminal raid which now means criminal laws were broken. if they were totally legit then a lawyer will get it thrown out at the preliminary hearing.
