Wasn't that my point. That if private organizations make rules for their members then it would seem even more logical that public organizations like the gov would make laws governing people on public roadways.

Lol so if a company decides to make rules regarding your employment that equates to the government making laws about your freedoms? If you work for a company and sign a contract that allows them to establish rules for you, then so be it. But public laws shouldn't be so arbitrarily decided. You are right, the government makes laws governing people on public road ways all the time but some of them are unjust imo.

Pretty sure that helmets in Nascar (and hockey, for that matter) has more to do with the ability of the league and stadiums to get liability insurance that will cover the participants.

And, about seatbelts, einstein new early on thru physics that if you are traveling in a car at 60 miles an hour you may feel like you are seated and not going anywhere but your BODY is actually traveling 60 mph also even though it's surrounded by a shell going the same speed. the football helmet thing came earlier and probably did not have to do with liability insurance. But in football, players are leading with their head on every play... hockey players wore knee/shin protection for a few decades before helmets were mandated. helmets in football and helmets in hockey are not strictly allegorical. helmets vs. shin guards would be more apt.

i'm not saying that helmets don't protect your head from injury. its just that that fact does not prove intent by the body that imposes regulations on protective gear.

I been thinking the same thing the truely sick patients are battling terminally ill conditions i.e cancer/aids are broke because of there hospital bills and pill perscriptions and are to pay high prices that's why people need to spread the word about growing your own medicine... it's really not hard anyone can throw a dozen CFL' an grow some ok herbs using quality seeds...

The new guidelines are great ... but ... when the states start to obey the laws then the price will come down. My county still looks at plants before they are done and tells you they are going to be too big and you will be over your limits. They also will arrest you for hashish .... they say its illegal, the AG says its just concentrated MJ and no diff. Its going to take a clearer definition before the county mounties from the backward countys leave ppl alone. Then you will see things begin to change. Untill the law is applied consistently I dont think ppl are going to feel safe. At this point you can have no more then 6 in one county and step across the county line and not be bothered for 72 .... we need to get some consistency across the state.

But if we get into that conversation we are going to fight, aren't we...SO I look at him not believing what he has just said knowing I will get nowhere with this guy or anyone in this club or any club by talking to them and I leave. The power has always been with the meduser. Click the link in my sig and you can see that a few rooms in a average track home can produce top shelf MJ. I've got close to a dozen strains in flower as we speak.

Not everyone grows the commercial huge yielding mid grade strains. If a MMJ patient can't grow their own because of physical limitations, that is what a caregiver is for. A family member could grow 1,000% supply for a med patient if they wanted to, and ICmag would help them find the right strains for them.
