Does Colorado want me? You tell me

Finally people are moving to Colorado instead of Cali to grow weed. :woohoo: Sorry Colorado. That's what you get for having such hip liberal medical laws. ;)

I'm seriously considering this also. I plan on waiting a year to polish my skills maybe start a small inventory away from the grow for when I move.

alright, not sure if anyone will still check this thread, i have established how much i want to grow...and will be going to look at houses in about a week (anyone know any good landlords? haha) pretty sure i'll be settling in fort collins.

now my next question i hope you guys can help with, can i sell to dispensaries? I will be producing more product than I have in the past and will need some help getting rid of some. It seems like legally a dispensary could buy from me if they contract me say 8 patients per pound. I just know what kind of yield I get, and with 2oz allowed per patient at a time, without the affirmative defense, I want to make sure I can always move what I need to, when I need to. I know how product likes to move itself, but I want to move it legally. The thought of doing this legally and helping people that need it brings a smile to my face.

hmm looking further on craigslist I actually found a dispensary looking for wholesalers, looks like my question is for the most part answered. But why are there no ads on craigslist in ft.collins? Is this a bad area for MMJ?

I'm not an expert on amendment 20, but I don't see where it allows anyone other than a patient or a designated caregiver to be in possession of plants or bud. Maybe dispensaries are having patients designate the "wholesaler" as a caregiver?

just like pp69 said. i just made an agreement with a collective or disp for all my product just this week. monday we go sign contracts and they sign over caregivership for contracted # of patients. now i just have to produce the amount of medicine they require at contracted price. i loose alittle bit of money giving them all my weight but at the same time i don't have to go all over the state slingin a few lbs hear and there all the time and driving wasn't worth it to me. they even told me to give them a price on all my trim so they can process it themselves.

Are there any cities in CO that don't look like Antarctica in the winter? Someone told me it doesn't snow much in Colorado Springs, but city-data says otherwise.

I've lived in Colorado Springs since 1971. The winters now are no where near what they used to be but in today's world we get snow and sometimes heavy, but it usually melts within 2-3 days. Last week it was 20F today it's 65F. We have what I would call mild winters here.

Yeah, I would consider Pueblo even milder than Springs, we get very little snow lots of times when Springs and Denver are getting hammered. Overall though, not as bad as some mountain towns. (or as some would have you think!) ;)

If you get your patients from a dispensary make sure you meet them and that they know you are their caregiver. Perhaps have a conversation with them about their condition and educate them about the strains you can provide so that if they need to go to court and testify as your patient you will be better covered.

A woman who was contracting with a dispensary got convicted by a jury recently because she had never met any of her patients. Last I heard she was appealing.

Anybody know the case I am talking about and where she is in the appeal process?

shh don't tell everyone the winters are mild and there are 65 degree days in the dead middle of them, then every yahoo in the country will want to live here. Next thing you know we'll have another california on our hands ;)

LMAO, as long as it's chill cannabis-friendly people, I don't see the problem. The rippers, jackers, thugs and dumbshits can stay where they are, they don't want to be messing around here, lots of mountains and other such places where one could have an unfortunate accident... ;)

We don't take kindly to rippers 'round these parts... :bat: :bat: :bat: :bat:

I have been thinking about CO for a while now. This thread has re-piqued my interest.
Maybe I'll meet all of you someday...
