I've noticed that I'm not going to have enough room in my flower box for the pots my plants are in. I need 4 inch pots, the ones they are in now are 6 inch. Is it too late to transplant? I've read up on transplanting but didn't see much on moving from a large pot to a smaller one..

When should I do this is really my question.. because as of right now they just simply won't fit in the box when it comes time because of the cool tube in the middle of the box mounted vertically..

I would leave the mothers in the pots they are in. When it comes time to plant the clones I would put them straight into the 4 inch pots they will stay in.

Does anyone know what this brown spot is? It happened overnight..

Do I need to be giving them nutes? (I know nothing about nutes) They will be 3 weeks old on Thursday..

The brown spot is best described as nothing, IMO. At least, nothing you really need to worry about it. It looks tiny in the least, and negligible at best.

As for nutes, they don't appear to need it yet. Wait for the leaves to start yellowing from the bottom up, then you'll know they need nutes... nitrogen specifically.

Out of curiosity, how tall are they? Mine are about 4 weeks old and hardly at 4" tall. I'm just trying to get a comparison. Looking healthy none the less :D

The larger one is a little over 2 inches.. and the smaller one is a little over an inch tall. Macro mode can make them look enormous haha.

I read up on that odour absorbing gel. It will take all smells out but will also make your bud smell like clean linen which isn't nice. Scrub's idea seems like a great one though. I am in the process of working on a scrubber for mine.

That sucks about the gel. I decided I'm not even going to worry about making a scrubber for my PC.. I am in the process of building a dual chamber flower box for all the plants that come out of my PC grow.. I'm going to use it for mothers and clones. However I am going to construct a nice scrubber for the flower box.. which will probably happen last.

Check out the construction thread for my girlfriend's flower cab...

I actually got it at Target.. I guess it's a small shelf for shoes. Had to modify it slightly to be able to close the case door.. I just used some bolt cutters to cut the metal wiring :D

Are you sure. Im running up on my second harvest without a scrubber and i must tell you the smell can be quite powerful. After this upcoming harvest in the upcoming weeks I will be adding a scrubber to my pc.

Man I haven't done any nutes.. I don't even have any nutes, lol. I was thinking of picking up the Fox Farm Trio.. what do you think?

You think I need one even if I'm just vegging in my PC? Once they are too big for the PC, they will be moved into my flower box which WILL have a nice carbon scrubber on it, since it will be housing the dankness.. lol

Honestly i couldnt tell you, ive only run 12/12 from seed. From my experience some strains do stink in veg and some dont. Keep your options open just encase they happen to be stinkers in veg

Most will stink in veg, but only when abused. (ie; pinching stems, rubbing leaves, etc) The scent doesn't linger, and is only released when you want it to be. I rub the leaves and smell my fingers every time I check on them just because I enjoy the scent.

In other words, it's my opinion that you don't seed to scrub vegging plants. Its more of a scratch-n-sniff sort of deal. Nothing to worry about. But your results may vary.
