How to clean my dirty buds when I harvest?

Hey guys I was wondering what I should do about my outdoor crop because many of the buds have dirt on them and I dont want dirty buds.

So I was thinking after I chop them down to wash the buds off in a sink and then clean them off in a tub of water then hang up to dry, after drying off excess water. Is there any problems with this?

i suppose you could gently wash off dirt under the faucet....people water cure without any problems,just don't be so rough....don't want your trichs getting knocked off.

My thoughts exactly and plants survive heavy rains without trichs getting knocked off. I was only gonna rinse/wash the buds off not really rough them up with my hands or anything.

You could also try giving them a nice mist bath acouple days before ya chop em. Whatever ya do with water be real careful of mold and fungus hope all goes well for ya. peace

Turn it into BHO. I use a coffee filter on the end of my extraction tube (in addition to a screen) and it filters out all the lint, dust, pollen, dirt and junk.


I don't smoke outdoor unless it's BHO, my lungs and throat are too sensitive.

as for the dirt, how about a small paint brush and gently brush away troubled areas?

lol i didnt lay them down or drag them anywhere, i live in the desert and its often very dry and dusty aaaaand windy which blows....literally. Also when it rains the dirt turns to the nastiest mud and splatters everywhere. And lol nooo way am I gonna just turn a few ps into some bho, now maybe the leaf....
