Nevile was the breeder of SSH not GHS and the only person at the time to hold the perent plants and shanti was part owner of and one of the Founders of GHS and the in house breeder and Neville him self did the seed prodution of SSH and Neviles haze in fact and GHS had no Mum plants of NH or SSH.

Then Mr nice seed co was formed and shanti did the production of SSH and NH from neviles plants its been sed before the only people to have acess to these and many more genetics are neville and shanti.

only those that have experience of both, and can appreciate the difference, actually know the truth on which is best.

i hate greenhouses capilalist approach to this industry, they just want to make cash, thats it! but i hate the newbie greenhouse robots even more, its always new heads that've grown a handfull of ghs rip offs, that seem to instantly swallow some concept that greenhouse does everything better than anyone else, without going out of their greenhouse seeds comfort zone, which is sickening to me.
* im not saying anyone here is one btw*

threads like this are a minefield for greenhouse fans though, and i suggest they try the alternative to any gh offering, before they even say something off em was good.

on the subject of lazy dutch "seedbanks"!!......... imo sensi and flying dutchmen and sagarmartha need to sort their genetics out, because frankly, they are getting so far behind now, on so many fronts, they might aswell shut up shop before business for em drys up completely.

i definitely know, where i think, the "king of cannabis" can stick his multi coloured feminized 5 packs!......................

i've not grown ghs ssh, but have grown/am growing some of mr nices ssh... its nice smoke, but def not knock-out shit...

I wouldent consider it a put you to sleep type evening weed, but if you want a soaring, mind racing get shit done smoke, id say its top notch.

as for who has the best, I Can only say I was happy with MNS as ive never tried the other.

there's a 20-30 day gap eaasy between quick pheno's like plumber's cut and longer hazier phenos. growth patterns vary too. wouldn't call this an IBL...

then again, strainhunter did say the 'most', meaning that the other's could be even more varying.

at least you knooow MNS SSH is gonna be a solid smoke, no matter what pheno, as long as it was grown in halfway decent conditions

i personally want phenos, and selection, and some fun in my life!.. but also the best, most original representation possible, oh and of course....the best high.

i tried both, and i chose the mns form, mainly on taste, although the high on 90% of the mns ssh phenos beats 100% of ghs ssh, imo.

i also want to add that after trying a small cross section of ghs strains, over a depressing but enlightening few years, i found that in every case either the original form or other peoples attempts were better. its quite funny to me now looking back, but at the time i did not laugh..... the last pack i grew of theirs was el nino, i had 4 ....... er...."girls"... i actually only ended up making one reefer of each plant, to test them, because each one ,within 3-5 drags, would make me have to be sick from the taste!! it was like ripe sour vomit!(the taste was) and even the small amount of hash they provided was wrong in ways i thought not possible, luckily i had some SOL sweet tooths, and white russians aswell, thank god!

who knows, if they were all i had that grow, the ordeal might have put me off weed for ever!

i still have the packet from those el nino's just in case i get a chance to stick them with those coloured feminized 5 packs in arjans mouth like i promised!!......er i mean arse!!

i have to say i love all the good souls that float in these waters, and i wish peace and GOOD TIMES to all !

but just not you money hungry sharks! you leave ganja alone!

Yeah pheno hunting is half the fun with a strain like this. I think StrainHunter may have meant stable as in no herms (i've never seen anyone mention herms in the same sentence as SSH tho no matter who's it was) and all top notch plants rather than uniform meaning they all look the same.

There's always going to be less stability when using selfed fem seeds but that's the pay off for saving time and energy on males. I'm looking for a good SSH male just now, fingers crossed.

Lost In aSea I've heard stories like that too many times for my liking, I'm sure they have some good seeds/plants but GH as a seed co are definitely not stable or uniform lol

i personly like the skunky stinky side of SSH....a touch of nail varnish smell is good too,,,,,,,,i think we used to call it the catpiss pheno back in 2000
