Funny thing is....Drew Brees has been "off" the last two games. Less than 200 yds each game.

The SAINTS don't need Brees to be on fire to win games...

There is a balance on the SAINTS team that has never been there before...defense, running game.....it's all there.

IT'S FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!

I've been watching SAINTS football for more than 30 years. Believe me.....I've seen my share of crap football, and it's always the same old shit....but NOT this year. NOPE.....not this year!

4-0...GO SAINTS!!!:joint:

Ain't it the truth! In previous years, that is a game they would have lost. Get you all excited and then blow it! BUT this years different.... I can feel it!

Can U feel it?

I can't believe I just watched Favre in a Vikings uniform spank my Packers. Painful. I am gonna go throw up.

The Saints look legit. Now if they can only hit their stride come playoff time. The Cards last year werent a particularly good defensive team, but they played extremely well during the playoffs and went to the Superbowl, which they almost won.
The Saints D this year is performing very well, but you want them to peak at the right time, which is the playoffs.
I said playoffs, because at 4-0 they're sitting pretty, and so long as they stay consistent it would be shocking if they didnt make the playoffs.

Yeah, must be weird for Packers fans to see their greatest player wearing the jersey of a rival. It would be like seeing Jordan wearing a Knicks jersey, or a Detroit Jersey.
Im a Bears fan, but I honestly respected and admired Favre for his talent and his moxie (although that moxie also led to some big interception totals). I dont mind seeing him back with the Vikes, I think it makes an interesting story (although I do get 'Favre'd out' a lot), especially if he makes it to the Super Bowl. And he can actually still make some plays too, so score one for the older generation. If my Bears don't make it (and I think they have a legit shot, not a good shot, but a decent one) then I wouldn't mind seeing the Vikes represent the NFC in the SuperBowl. And it would be a Hallmark moment to see a 40 year old dude win the big one and then retire, having accomplished the one thing he wanted another taste of (not to continue his TD record or his consecutive games record or his wins record): the feeling of being a Super Bowl champion. 1997 was a long time ago. He wanted to go out on top. And maybe he did some selfish things to get there, but hell, mistakes were made on both sides.

my niners just signed crabtree this morning....

That's interesting. I wonder how much he'll be able to contribute this season. They are leading their division without him so if he can contribute even better but if not they're still fine. VD is finally justifying his draft slot, Hill is leading by example with his toughness and fearlessness, and the defense is playing pretty well (one thing about those Niner's teams of the 80's and 90's, they always had a pretty good defense, even though the offense got all the attention).
It was odd that Crabtree held out for so long, on the belief that he SHOULD have been drafted higher. That sort of logic rarely works with a GM.
If he becomes the next Jerry Rice, and there's no reason to think he can't, he'll get his monster payday soon enough.

Hill throws ducks....i hate it...but he is a winner.....VD took so long to develop because he was mainly used as a blocking TE because we had no OLINE.....the Niners in general are a changed team from the beginning of last year to now....all because of Sing....he makes them want to play with everything....if that aint a wining coach then hell i dont know what is.....

i guess you're glad you didnt go now.
SF proved today that they are the 3rd best team in their division.
be glad the rams are in your division.

sacko, i got 5 words for you.
fourty four to seven.

and your only TD was bullshit cuz the giants stripped the ball on that drive and ran it back for 6.
bullcrap call, but at least you found the endzone.

p.s. russell sucks for real.
0 pocket presence, didnt feel the rush all day!

giants look good, i dont care about the schedule.
we all have one and have to play it.
this is the 3rd game for the g-men where eli didnt have to finish the game, alla garbage time.
dominant? yes

We'll see how well Eli and the g-men fare when they come to the Superdome in NOLA next week. A little homecoming for Eli....if you will.

IMHO, it will the be the toughest game that the SAINTS have to play this year......bring it!!!

We already took a bite out of the big apple......now we'll see if we can't eat the whole damn thing!!:joint:
