so I'm at Jimmy's house today, Jimmy is my one 'weird' friend, you probably know the type, half genius & half recurring acid trip....... anyway we're sitting there getting stoned in his living room when he turns to me and says "Hey Dave, I want to let you know that my friend Tom is stopping by in a few minutes and he can seem a bit weird, just lettin' ya know"

whoa! I'd never even contemplated him having a friend stranger
than himself and how in the hell does he even recognize this.......

so check this shit out:

i had a buddy, my original grow partner. We had a falling out about 2/3 years ago. out of the blue about a year or so ago, he calls me up and apologizes, says that he want to chill and be friends again. he drives 6 hours to my house, stays there for a week. He lets us know that in addition to smoking a lot of pot, he's also now into opiates. i talk to him, help him through it, and eventually, he goes to rehab after leaving my house. When he leaves, he says "i'll give you a call in 90 days".

90 days comes and goes and i dont hear back from him. i'm like wtf. so i call him up, no answer. i talk to an old mutal friend, and she says "yeah, he went to rehab, he's good now." i say "well why the hell doesnt he call me back?" she says "he thinks you're a bad influence because you smoke pot and promote drug use" .......................

so, to sum it all up: I was a good friend, he gets mad, we dont talk for years. He calls me up out of the blue, apologizes, says "lets hang out and reminisce". he comes over, buys an ounce, smokes the ounce in like 4 days, all the while doing a shit load of pills in "his room". he goes to rehab, decides to blame someone else for his problems, and talk shit to all my old friends. the kicker: dude doesnt have the balls to tell this to my face/on the phone, and wont pick up the phone. people are shitty and i'm glad i'm not around that kind of pointless drama anymore

and i hope he's a member here and reads this and cries
