clones are not rooting.HELP

cloning is voodoo man, million different ways to do it and everyone is right.

once you get your method down don't mess with it or let anyone tell you there is a better way.

you run into rot problems with higher temps, but you can also root a little faster, your temps are fine in my opinion.

you want to have a moist medium, if you go look at rapid rooters or whatever those are called that are already wet, that's how wet you want your rooting medium
Hey bro thanks for your input. Do you think they will root? I mean Just by what I have explained.

I used to have hell rooting clones couldnt gettm to root for nuthen leaves yellowing and shit.

Oyea i was using a DIY bubbler with dome, i went through a shit load of cuttings until i came across this thread where this dude only used plain water in cups.

I figured what the hell ill try it and every since then ive had about 90% success rate go figure......

no worries :D

Mexilandrace is right... i've had cloning methods which I saw others succeed with perform poorly for me, and I've seen people try out methods that work at 99%+ efficiency for me produce poor results when duplicated by others.

If you start with healthy branches, use clean tools, use new rooting hormone, and follow any of the established methods people generally have success with. then you should have roots within 2 weeks. Remember not to keep your cubes standing in water, if you are using a humidity dome, then the cubes need only be damp all through not saturated... do not let them dry out, however.

Personally,
I don't like gels or powders for hormone. powders fall off too easily, and gels can sometimes keep stems too wet and promote rot. I use hormex.
I don't like temperatures over 74 or so. I don't see much slowness of rooting at all, 7-10 days usually.
I don't like my cuts under HIDs, usually use a CFL or 2 per tray.
I wet my RW cubes with 5.6 pH nutrient solution (3 ml/gal micro, 5ml/gal bloom, gen hydro flora series.).

I am also fond of wick cloners, and cloning in straight coco.

yes cuts will root in a cup of water.
I have rooted in a cup of nutrient solution as well.
Changing the water daily helps success.

Thanks again for the info. I watched a video called Sea of green by this dude named Hans. I did what he said to do when cloning. I guess what worked for him does not for me. Thanks for your input. It is appreciated>

on the dome some have 2 points at the top some have a movable vent if you get the first poke a extremely small hole on those points im talking the size of about 3 thumbtack holes put together

dont use any chemicals this is the most KISS, cheapest way to do it, the hardcore way

Ive never seen cuts change sex from C.S.

btw my cuts go to the store and then ED Rosenthals go in the trash

do it this way and your cuts will thrive in wide temp range, do it the simple way and dont worry...
