This evening I was able to purchase the remainder of the equipment to finish my grow cab.
I have framed a 6'x6'x4' box and partitioned it into a 4x4 space (for flower) and a 2x4 space (for veg).
Tonight I purchased:
1x Sun System Ballast, HPS, 1000w
1x Mogul socket for SS ballast
1x Sylvania Horticulture bulb, 1000w hps
1x Valuline 6" 440CFM centrifugal fan
1x Carbonaire 6" Carbon scrubber
I plan on wrapping the frame in poly, and I have a bake-a-round to do a diy cooltube with. I have a few 4' Fluoro ballasts and bulbs lying around, and I suspect they are suitable for vegetative growth. After verifying, I'll likely mount the ballasts inside the frame, and prepare to poly it up. Here's a very rudimentary sketch on my box design. I'll likely do the compartmentalizing with osb or plywood.
I'm thinking this is a good way to supply myself medication during the off-season...

Well, I know most have chopped thier outdoor grows this year, but I still have not: here are current pics. I tried to get a trich shot. Anyone have any estimates on how long they would leave this girl? Alot of the other pistils are more done than they are in the best shot I have.. any opinions welcome
PS: Is anyone else seeing the photography learning curve kicking in?

looking good!
have you checked the color of your trichs with a magnifying glass or something?
Cloudy means an up buzz, amber color means THC degrading, more of a couchlock buzz.

Only have a mag glass, but I'm seeing clear to cloudy. Also the buds don't feel like they're quite at an appropriate density, I'm thinking one-two more weeks.
I could be wrong on the trich's though, I can only see the resin heads about as well as you can in the first macro while using the mag glass. I really need a microscope

There looking cloudy from the pics with a few just starting to amber I would give it a week yet if you can. I wouldn't recomending trying to see the trichs with the pictures you take with a flash it seems to have the same effect as the red eye effect some times. Happy Harvest!
