Yo, save up $20k if you may. That way if anything unexpected comes along you're smooth sailing. You're gonna have to wait 6 months for a Cali drivers license anyway, no?
I'm being rational, slow, and considered, while utilizing a fantastic resource to soak up information. I like my life at this particular moment, so I'm in no big hurry.
I'm not particularly concerned with whether internet user mrdizzle thinks my threads or internet persona are interesting. Sorry brotha.
panzy
Some of you guys must have really shitty lives. Seriously. It's that bad that you want to give dudes shit on the internet for thinking about a move?
panzy
Thanks brotha. So a guy trying to weigh the options of staying where he is or moving out to cali without adequate financial backing is a panzy? Sounds to me like he is making the right decision and not trying to move out there and draw a govt check and sounds like you are just another internet toughguy. Movingtocally, get your ducks in a row before you move anywhere. I would make sure you can get housing at an affordable rate first, that is the most important thing, then get your license and card in order. And as for mr dizzle I am sure we all respect his ethug opinion greatly.
As I understand you can get one with a rental document upon move in.Yo, save up $20k if you may. That way if anything unexpected comes along you're smooth sailing. You're gonna have to wait 6 months for a Cali drivers license anyway, no?
is it as easy as pie to move to cali and grow, no, but alot of people are being drama queens and scaring you for nothing, seriously if you got some funds and you really wanna do it, do it. dont listen to the advice of a bunch of people who arent you. theres alot of different experience out there, some havent been as successful are others, but thats on them more than being in cali.
anything that you run into after you move, unless your a pussy, you can overcome. its not that hard to grow a lb a month in a 1bedroom apartment., add that to your income from work. you can do that for a year figure out your scene then blow it up, or dont blow it up, keep working and growing a little, and next time you take a girl out to dinner your not gonna stress her 4th cocktail
but a few people were right, do not move to the em tri, unless you have a bunch of homies already there to school you
haha this was me like a month ago, it wasnt premeditated, I just kept noticeing these threads with crazy questions all started by movingtocali. I understand the fear you feel about moving, I felt it before I moved, just signed another 2yr lease. But seriously your never going to feel "ready" enough to move, there will always be unanswered question, you just have to do it, or dont. you will only need three things......20k, brains, and balls. I hope your next thread is, movingtocali moved to cali
