I have a pack of Fed's, 9 germinated 4 males, 4 females & 1 unknown atm.
super vigor + 1 of the stinkiest plants i ever smelled in veg !! u know from rubbing the stems/branches and what not, then again the RMS Highland Nepalese also in veg are just about as bad on the stretch & stank factors !

I was moving units a few years back for a guy who ran an OG Afghani Clone (early 80's, cloned from an outdoor plant vegging, no seeds left), a "Skunk" clone, and ISS (his keeper). Although his afghan was potent and impressive, his ISS took the crown in terms of quality and effectiveness go TENFOLD. Lime green nuggets with slightly darker leaf, funky-pine/grapefruit/dead animal smell, with almost a menthol taste, but more on the sweet side. Almost mouthwatering (as opposed to promoting a dry throat). I miss that cut. But thats what happens when your friends are close enough to hand product to you but too stubborn to keep their clones backed up. Live and learn..
my distinguished collegues, if i may interject, i love the iss. the legend goes that iss was a special inbred pheno of the true cali sk#! brought to the big island (vancouver island) in the 70's by war dodging hippies. the iss has been refind by the island growers for over 35 years and is truely unique and wonderfull. next generation and federation, i believe much of the same people, both have this seed in their menus. ive seen 3 basic phenos. one that is almost 90% sativa, finishing with long fat colas. thin leaves and long internodes and very orange. the other is a shorter denser more indica but not realy darker green iss. it has less hair it seems whiter buds but orange and tangier. the 3rd seems a stable version of the 2 previous and most sought after. one of my all time faves. i dont know much about the "sweet skunk" from sol. probably has iss in it. ive seen all them cropped in 60 days hydro w gas. outdoor its like a different plant, 10/10 when weather is right. nature gives it an extra rich, sweet taste and aroma, ahhhhhhh iss i hope this helps someone and im stoked many have experienced her

Where did you get these genes? Are they Feds or Next Gen?? Just wodering, because i STILL haven't found the exact genetics i'm lookin for with this sweet skunk, and the guy i know who knows the guy who has EXACTLY what i'm looking for is being a stingy lil bitch and doesn't want to spare JUST ONE CUT of this lovely plant...just one!

first off i think sweet island skunk is just people switchin the words around ive had iss and that shit was amazing very sativa structure but still big fluffy nugs and an amazing skunk with like strawberry cake frosting smell to it once you see it ull rmrmber that bud forever the hairs are so uniigue on it wut heavy dank nugg has is the legit iss looks just like wut iv always grown

yes the pistils are very thick and white when she starts production.....
she stretches and there are long spaces between nodes but she fills in nicely...
mine is federations iss....the smell of the growing buds are almost like a orange cream popsicle....very unique.....
its one of those few strains that you know excatly what is being smoked just by the smell of the smoke in the air.....Ill run her till the wheeles fall off...im telling you there is something special about this weed....its not the frostiest but very frosty.......not the biggest but big enough......not the tastiest but the flavor is 1 of a kind...
after you have become familiar with Iss.she gets into your psyce......
and haunts you.....
if you go a little while without puffing her you will be missing her bigtime..the smell and taste.will never leave you.
ive noticed 3 hair phenos, 1- thick and fiberous 2- thick, no fibre and almost pink hue, and the 3rd a mix of both. im stoked iss has such a following. great pics everyone, my mouth is seriously salivating. i killed 2 phenos by accident(moving) and just have the 90% sativa peno left. need more beans but the fall is usually the wrst time to buy, im choked. for skinny and lankt it really fattens up. this is the iss of course.

the sweet skunk cut that was going around up north a couple years ago was a monster yeilder. I used to have buds that would weigh 40grams dry indoors, a month veg would give you a 7fter

The ISS has sugary fat buds with long, thick hairs that turn golden orange after the 6th week. Tall vigorous growth with a dramatic increase n bud density for the last 3 weeks of it''s flower cycle. This strain has been tested at 19.6% THC when finished, making it a major favorite amongst the medical community, as it takes less to properly medicate. Admired for its strong Sativa like high, the ISS has a very unique taste and odour that stands out from any other strain we've ever come across. typically finishing outdoor by late October, ISS is one of the main strains that gives BC a reputation as being a leader in the breeding of world class medical marijuana. have had the cut goin' on for last three seasons outdoors producing two+ elbows for a tops in wt.........typically doesn't fully finish here at just shy of 37o nl til Halloween.........

ive also heard that an underground breeder in my part of the world is going to work on the clone ( which he is sending me) to cross it with ISS to make a backcross and make it available in seed form as well as crossing the clone with C99
i think something interesting will come out of that

Sweetskunk by Spice of Life seeds was the original clone.
Island SweetSkunk is a cross of White Widow as stated earlier in this thread.
Sweetskunk the original clone, breeds very well.
Bulldog, c99 x sweetskunk could be a great cross.
Sweetblue or Sweetest Sativa by Chimera......highly recommended!

for those of you still interested in getting ISS by federation i was led by a ic member to Hemp Depot where they have the originals for 75 for a ten pack... ive never dealt with ********* though so i dont know anything about their service and have yet to get myself a pack...a couple months ago there were still a few packs on seedboutique and when i went to order they were all gone haha... im currently growing out some ISS x Pine Tar Kush bred by XYZ and the plants seem to be fairly PTK dominant at least thus far in veg...anyway hope that info helps anyone who was still looking
