That's why people with good genetics don't fork them over to cash croppers for $ and don't let them fuck up a good thing..keep the genetics pure and in the hands of the good people who care about quality ganja.

Ive been hearing about alot of clubs offering free doctors appts are full of shit making alot people waiting around all day playing a time game or something,,, really crazy it starting to upset a few people.

Patients Choice of Colorado.

Patients Choice of Colorado.

There are too many to reply to individually, but we would like to clarify some issues.

Patients Choice of Colorado is a MEDICAL marijuana dispensary. We are truly helping those in need, and doing our best to provide medicine at the best price we can. As many have mentioned, the easiest way for us to provide the best quality, consistency, and price is if we grow our own meds. It takes time to get gardens on line and running properly. Even with what we are doing, demand is outstripping supply. We have and plan on offering $10 gram to our members for certain in house strains. Our goal is to get what we produce down to about $10 - $14 a gram.*** WE NOW HAVE 10 DOLLAR GRAMS OF MEDICINE AVAILABLE FOR MEMBERS OF WHITE WIDOW AND ENDLESS SKY.***So we really are trying to go in this direction as much as possible.

But what I want to discuss is the medical side of this movement. In order for us to provide our own in house medicine, have medicine on the shelves, and have legal coverage for our staff, we need a certain amount of patients that sign us up as their primary caregiver. Some people have said that dispensaries are not caregivers. That could not be farther from the truth. We promote alternatives to traditional care. We have massage therapy, music therapy, acupuncture, and are looking into other forms of alternative healing. We also highly promote nutrition as a preventative to disease.

And on prices, for our outside growers, we pay upwards to $4,800 a pound for certain strains. The ones that don't sell, we don't buy back; the ones that do, we buy. We think its high, but there also needs to be education on how long certain strains take to grow, their yield, and expertise level. If you have a 42 day finisher, of course that is our cheapest medication. Next you have an 70 day finisher; should that be the same price? You will never find super high quality meds that take longer to grow unless you are willing to compensate that grower for his extra time and resources.

I also want to point out that the CDPHE via their rule-making meeting on July 20th also clarified that providing and growing do constitute as care-giving. We also strongly promote people using their six plant option to grow their own and reduce the amount they need from anyone. We have helped many people set up grow rooms for free. We believe in sustainability of all kinds, particularly economic, and growing your own, and growing it well, is extremely beneficial for patients and the community.

However, many of our patients either are physically unable to grow, do not have the time, or many do not want to grow or can't because of living situations. Every person's story is different, and that is what makes us so dynamic. But together, we will grow our scene into a caring, informational, and truly wonderful and safe environment for medical patients to not only get their medications, but interact with a community of like-minded individuals with a common, caring goal. Hopefully this movement will transcend into full legalization from the present tyrannical and draconian actions used by the federal government.

One thing most people overlook in this movement, from what I understand from our lawyer, is that every thc product in any dispensary must be grown, made, baked in Colorado. No beasters, no cali bud/hash/baked goods, every product must be from Colorado, and every thc medicine in Patients Choice is grown, baked, made in Colorado. It will take us some time to meet the demand, particularly without these outside sources, but we are improving everyday.

We wish all of you peace, love, understanding, and respect, and thank you so much Paco, booya, medthumb and all the other positive comments.
Thank you!

Good post PC. Of the dispensaries i've been to yours is one of the nicest and most professional its also one of the only ones that had a nice enough bud to purchase. I usually walk out of places with just an edible or two, i'm spoiled.

One question i've been meaning to ask you guys since your food is some of the best is, where can i get food some grade veg glycerin in the denver area? I've been wanting to do some tincs and maybe some hard candy with some lower grade bubble i have around.

Thank you for answering some of the pricing questions I had when me and my wife were on the phone for 2-4 hours trying to obtain as much information as possible about the CO. MJ. I know maybe most people or dispensaries want to discuss prices over the phone but to us this is no different than calling around to get the best price on any given medication from a pharmacy. Yet, god forbid if any pharmaceutical corporation ever gets their hands on setting the price p/z or p/g of MMJ. no one would be able to afford their medications ...LOL

Also,, we live on a fixed income and to come up with 200 each for a doctors appt plus 90 license fee and buy our medication in the same month there is NO WAY :+{.

Lastly the 2 doctors we did speak to in the Denver Area both told us that they frown upon us growing our own medication? Will a dispencerary sell or supply us with clones?

Thank you

We are local Colorado caregivers who take pride in our selection and collection of genetics and our commitment to our patients and the local community. Everyone involved with Stone Mountain has been part of the Colorado cannabis community for the better part of the last decade or more.

I have gone to great lengths to make sure all products we carry are the absolute best localy produced cannabis strains available. We dont buy from meds from outside vendors and our baked goods are from a local baker with a commercial kitchen and license who uses our leaf for our food products. Please stop in and let me know your from IcMag!

Thanks,

Hi there Patients choice, and welcome to our thread :joint:

As you read no doubt, there's lots of great info for care-givers/dispensaries on these here threads. These posts as a whole quickly reveal what a good chunk of 'the patient' population want; and I hope there are some good ideas here from which you can draw to improve your care center even more. It's nice you stopped by throwing those ideas around kinda like a white knight riding in to the rescue. We certainly need it around this state.

Ya see, we're quickly becoming conditioned by the many pot shops we visit, that the industry is plagued by that 'quick-buck' mentality. The gold rush, people keep saying. Certainly many complaints here can be reworked as challenges with solutions by a true care-giving dispensary like you set out to achieve. I welcome it whole-heartedly!!! :)

The average price for 7 grams of good kind Colorado meds out there in dispensaryland is what... about $120? $20-$40 above what most of us pay for black market buds. Sure you'll hear lots of folks talking about prices here; and from what the wallet's been seein' lately is the average gram price is drawing nearer and nearer to that $18-$20 a gram plateau. As if some sort of natural price-collusion is happening among Colorado dispensaries, many realizing patients would pay higher prices.

I can imagine that a consistent stream of great quality and quantity meds is tough right now because most just started the biz in the last year and have yet to perfect their systems. Interesting how the next 3 years will evolve the medicinal marijuana dispensary.

On the topic of 45 day vs. 70 day finishers and pricing, it's sad the model proposed contributes to ultimately weeding out MANY wonderful and medicinal sativas/hazes cause many store owners are overly concerned about the business side of things. I can't imagine a 'fair' price for a 120 day Neville's Haze or Super Silver Haze under this model?? It's doubtful these beneficial strains will ever be grown by dispensaries for the very reasons you mention. Granted, a medical marijuana dispensary is a tax-paying business under all state definitions; and there's no sense to take on all that effort and risk unless there's good compensation for it.

Of course the business side is well understood here; and I for one don't have anything against the pot store concept, but few care-givers think in those terms. Many grow what patients like regardless of additional care, time, nutes, and love that goes into getting that incredible 3-hour strong haze. Some are known to quickly up the mood and energy of those who suffer from certain mental disorders (or others who just wanna jam out to some allman brothers band in their underwear and sing at the top of their lungs, which has been known to happen).

That said, it's good to see passion for helping folks with grows, and the different forms of healing your place offers... yet I imagine the bulk of sales revenue comes from the meds. More power to ya for providing the services tho. Sounds like you offer cheaper prices for your patients than most, too. Party on friend I like where yer headin!

Based on their site, Green Mtn discontinued Wednesday doctor visits sometime over the past three weeks. Looks like some inept scheduling (clinic scheduled OP for a Wed dr appt, when dr is no longer available on Wed - or the dr abruptly dropped Wed, and schedulers neglected to follow up). From the OP's description, the clinic was rude and unprofessional in their treatment of him. Surely they knew that Wed dr appointments had been discontinued - did the clinic explain this to their patient when he showed up for an appointment? Apparently not; they simply shut out the patient with no offer to reschedule.

This report documents inept, unprofessional and rude treatment of a patient by Green Mountain Care by uncaring staff. Such treatment is completely unacceptable.

:fsu:

If they keep doing stuff like that, the people will end up going elsewhere.

guess you didnt go to college, might be another reason you cant afford good weed, but regardless its called a DEBATE. You are on the side of people who think it should be cheaper, so do I actually. What are you doing to change it? You selling lbs for $2000 to a club that promises to pass the savings on? No, no your not cause you sir are a crybaby.

Commodities are only worth what someone will pay.

As for the "catch another felony". Like i said, real class act making fun of a grower that got busted. We really should do lunch one day. PM me
