Report is based on 5 grams of GDP obtained from a friend. I live in Alabama so this stuff never comes around, and I jumped at the chance to get some. It was very pricey $100/5grams, but worth shelling out the money.
Smell: Very and I mean very stinky - prominent smell is grape/berry followed by skunk. This is some of the smelliest I have had in a while. I made the mistake of bringing some in the car...bad idea, my car stunk all day at work. When I break this stuff out people immediately ask what kind is that? Overall I give the smell 9/10
Taste: First thing is watch your intake, this bud will choke you out big time! The taste carries over very well kind of a grapey/skunky with a little incense thrown in. Sticks to the palate for a while too. It has a deep note too that I can't describe. I give the taste 7.5/10 it's good, but I tend to like the sweet fruity strains like bubblegum, blueberry, sweet tooth etc.
Appearance: Beautiful rock hard purple hued buds. They look like candy. They are as pretty as some of the blueberry hybrids I have grown over the years. Overall I give the appearance 9/10, doesn't get much better than this.
High: knockout indica all the way, hard to think and function. Works well at night, it lasts a good while too. There is a very slight head to it - not much though. I give the high a 8/10, it's strong but not the strongest by any means.
Overall impression: This was my first time smoking GDP - I now know what all the hype is about. There was nothing I didn't like about it - taste and smell are killer, potency was good, bag appeal out of this world! My goal now is to hunt down a cut or some seeds.
