I heard Snoop Dog named it Green Crack...anyone know if that's true?
I'm smoking some right now. Finally coming back around strong and beautiful like it was in '04-'05, from 2006-2008 it seemed like there was alot of fake GC going around. The vibrant orange hairs and tutti frutti smelling buds are very unique and easily distinguished

Perfect report :

~Cush aka Green Crack~

-Lineage : SSSC Skunk #1 x Local Sweet Leaf Afghani

-Vegative Growth: very branchy and very fast. Like to grow and reacts well to ferts. Loves to be trained/topped.

-Stretch: not too bad, maybe about double, easily controlled with training.

-Flower Time: 42-49 days

-Yeild: average, maybe slightly above average if dialed in to a T... my expereince has been average at best.

-Odor/Flavor: Sweet candies, sickly sweet. 8 (higher if you like the sweet stuff). Flavor is a sweet classic kind that is recognizable 8.3.

-Potency/High: Pretty potent, like a hand grenade... hits you hard but longevity is not really there IMO. Still one of the best mostly sativa highs for the flowering time. 8.4/10.

More or less everyone

Larger plants will yield alot more IMO

Moldy thanks for the great information!

I understand larger plants will yield more but, I am wondering if more small plants will yield better then less bigger plants. I thought that was the purpose of SoG to get a larger yield. Maybe its just the short veg time?

Thanks again!

Sup everyone. . . looking for some insight..

Flower now, or later??

It all depends on the space and how much you think they will fill in, as long as they are not competing for space and light, that's the key indicator of how large you want them. If you have room to move them around, you will get larger yields with a longer veg.
Many growers don't have space and so they use SOG to maximize yields in smaller spaces. I always get around 2 ounces per plant if I veg a little longer indoors with the space I have, maybe 2-3 weeks vegging depending on the strain. If I flower earlier, like a one week veg,I may get 1 ounce max per plant in my space. If I had unlimited vertical space and more room to spread plants around, shit, I'd put a 600 over each plant and grow bushes that yield 6-10 ounces each or more.

To me it's all about space, I'd rather plant bigger plants and get huge yields, than be risky with big numbers of small plants just to save time or electricity.. If that space in the pic is all you have, I'd veg for another 2 weeks max. if it's going to double or triple in size. It's your decision tho obviously.

i would flower now!!! .those look prime ready for the flip ... they are going to stretch a bit and also bush out alot .......so once they start to stretch trim off the bottom stuff and youll have more big buds and less popcorn nugs ... if you leave the lower branches youll have tons of popcorn GC likes to branch out... good luck man

the main staple to my smoking diet is GC

You see, that contradicts everything I thought of.

I figured, 1 huge bush under 1 600w, yielding 6-10 ounces, is FAR less efficient then running 16 under 1 600w, vegging for a week and yielding an ounce per plant.

16x1oz = 16oz with 1 week veg rather then 6-10 ounces with a 2 month veg...

catch my drift?

Thanks everyone for all the input/insight! much appreciated!

We do 10 plants per 3k with co2. 1 week veg in one gallon pots then transfer to five gallon pots for 6 more days of veg (13 days total). 60 days flower. 5.5lbs every time with very little attention. If you vegged GC for 2 months it would take over your average sized bedroom!!!

Hey everyone. Still vegging. Thinking about ditching my two weakest ladies taking up space so I can allow everything to fill out a little better.

For whatever reason, in (1) out of (15) of my GC I am getting brown rusted spots. Everything else looks healthy but the leaves are looking really bad. Mag deficiency? I'll get pics.

I was going to veg for 1 more week but maybe I'll cut it short depending on what everyone thinks.

Jack knows best! Right now they're only like 8 inches tall at max, where as my other girls are anywhere from 10-13 inches. Anyways, brb with pics.

pic 1- canopy nice and full right?
pic 2- Not so much. got a little less then 1/3 of my floor space and 3rd light yet to be filled in. Plus, the 2 in 3 gallons farthest from camera are test dummies that I super cropped and im not so happy with the turnout.
pic 3- left and center hoods running. right hood not running.

pic1- Brown rusty spots. MAG deficiency? I went from tap water to RO as 3 days ago. Only plant out of 15 that has it

pic2- Looks topped right?? Its not actually. The very bottom branch is actually the one that is running parallel to the main stalk. Nice and thick. Im gonna thank my T5 I invested in for this one. A couple turned out like this

pic3- bush compared to 2 gallon grow bag. I say 5-7 more days but am looking for input!!

--- Should I ditch the two weakest ones and let them get even bigger and stronger? I want this canopy to be full! :woohoo:

Let me know what everyone things. Gave them there first feeding of "The Yellow Bottle" PRE-bloom. Supposedly some pretty gnarly hormones to get them ready for the transition.

Wish me luck!

Peace! :joint: :abduct:

id say those babies are ready to go, flower now

as for the rust spots how hot is it in there??? ...looks kinda like burning??? ...

.but it could also be,, did you spill some nutes on the leaves ..???? since it is only affecting one plant

and yes maybe ditch the week ones

another post on this impossible (for some based on loc.) to find cut... its so so good seems once a grower tries it theyre seeking it grow
someone here mentioned it originating in athens GA USA. I tried some bud said to be green crack, 100% unique and as others describe it so if it wasn't the real thing it was some other strain just short of being a holy grail... Its still in my top 5 with SSH, black haze, red diesel that imploded my lungs, and something very close to grape ape. I havn't tried the plethora of strains some here have but most would probly agree its of that caliber.
man the GC taste and smell was so bind blowing, I will never forget it/mistake it and would love to get a hold of it...find myself saying this every GC/cush post here :)

It is a possibility i spilled some nutrient water on her. She IS the only one doing it, but it doesnt look like burn as she has it on random places.

Temps are 76.6 degrees, 41% humidity.

I'm probably going to ditch my weakest one and keep the one I LST'd. I have a feeling her main cola is still gonna produce some excellent smoke, shes just not as tall as the others.

Tonight on my way home ill go grab 2 600w bulbs and some base flower nutes, and flip this bitch :woohoo:

Jack thanks a ton!

You too Mr. Athens!

Enjoy these guys! Green Crack is a really fun plant to grow. Right now i've got some GC's ready to be seeded with a Wallyduck C99 male. I hope I get something fast flowering and fruity from this one.

so heres a Q....
whats a good general feed schedule for someone used to running 8-9 weeks crops?
