I've got a big male showing. The largest of the group has shown it's true colors today. I'll be able sex the majority in the next 2/3 days. After all have shown the females will be transplanted and I will select then top my male to slow him down some. These things are really starting to take off now. The bottom leaves are starting to fall off from lack of light. They are complaining about lack of rootspace too. So far they seem to be able to cope with less than optimal (especially for a sativa) conditions very well. K+ to OJD for the great cross. Here's a couple shots from today.
In the last pic the one on the right looks like it's about to fall, it's not. It's the one that topped itself and now that's just how it grows. The plants are lanky due to low light and high N but they are suprisingly strong for their structure.

Well almost, I've got one that I'm undecided on right now but I'm going to call it a female cause I feel lucky today. This is day 12 BTW. So far I have 7 females and three males. The self topping one is still lagging a bit. One male is extremely fast, so far he looks very mature compared to the rest. From the looks of it he will be busting in about 4 to 5 days.
I wish I knew what phenos I was looking at. I'm going to look up Sideshow Bob's cut to see what I can learn about the mother. OJD if you could give me the rundown on the father I would love it. Was it fast or slow? Lanky or compact? Does it lean more towards the Haze or G13, or is it in the middle? Do you know what the dominant taste/smell is from the father? Sorry to be such a PITA but I like to know what pheno comes from where.

the g13haze male is mostly haze dom so tall with the occasional 1 in 10 maybe being a g13 pheno smaller and compact
the amnesia haze is a stretchy 1 so like being trained or topped
there is some small amnesia haze phenos that come out in this cross but most will be bigger girls
you can either top them before flower and wait a few days or a week for shoots to appear or tie her down and let her go for it
i find with haze its best to start training very early on

Everything is doing well. I have them transplanted and into the cab with the 250 so they are happy as hell right now. I gave the self topping female to a friend and took some cuts as well. I plan on picking a male out of here to use for a couple things so I'm going to be showing more of them than females right now, nothing to interesting happening with them at the moment. The males are speeding right along. I topped them after the photos to slow them a tad.

Tall, first to show sex and has very compact and good size man nugs. Theres something special about him though, he has a secret. Outta the closet BIATCH.
What's that? A little closer. OK.
Reverse hermaphrodite. I've read good and bad things about them but only one opinion from a seasoned breeder, DJ Short. He says they are special and can be used to increase potency and female ratios. I can vouch for the potency myself from what I've done with a cross of mine but I used a full blown hermie male that was completely covered in female flowers by the time it was done. The problem was the hermie traits were carried on to almost every plant. I'll pollinate the biggest haze pheno with this and see what results.
Male #2
Looks and smells exactly like the first but with shorter internodal spacing and slightly smaller bud structure. Consequently he is shorter in hieght than #1. Strait male though. I'll use this for breeding back to the hazy side of things.
Male #3
G-13 pheno (as far as I can tell). Slower than the rest, no smell and smaller structure overall. This includes the bud structure. Seems pretty bland so far, nothing really catches my eye but his heighth and strong stems. He might knock boots with the CO X DC.
Here is a shot of them all nestled in the cab with the CO X DC. Who says you can't pull off a SOG from seed? There are twelve plants total in there. As you can see the PA is in the back. There are really 7 PA's in there due to the triplets -one sibling. It should get real interesting from here on out. The boring part is over so let the fun begin.
PS Next time I promise it won't be such a sausage fest in here. I'll showcase the ladies.

thats not good,i had 6 i didnt find any in but i guess its the freaky amnesia haze(she puts out freaks twins and triplets but is a very good amnesia haze
is it alot of hairs or just the 1 you see
i would not breed with it if it had any herm traits but im no dj,he is a master in breeding

It's just the one. I haven't seen any anywhere else on the plant. I'm kinda torn on the thing cause it's the most hazy pheno I have. I'll probably dust a small branch with it just for the hell of it. I'll probably use male #2 for most everything else.
There is the possibility that I caused it you never know. Like I said above I haven't been exactly nice to these things. I've treated them kinda rough, what's a test for right? No light leaks or anything but they stayed in cups under weak light longer thean I wanted them to. I still had a total of 8 females so what the hell can I say? They are performing great.

Looking good there kaotic, we had high female ratio as well and i must say they have been a pleasure to grow nice and easy, they have handled some rough conditions with me and just keep growin, easy on nutes handled 1.9ec and no sign of nute burn, had some ph issues and they still look great
