I remember a story a couple years ago when some vietnamese guys were busted running three grow houses simply because they purchased 400 pots at a locally owned greenhouse supplier (not a hydro store) with cash and no tax ID number. I never use a car registered to a grow location to buy grow supplies period, I keep my hair short, and try to blend in as much as possible. This story does sound like these people were under an intense investigation already, but it doesn't mean you shouldnt be careful. There are people who get busted in very improbable ways simply because they were unlucky and considering the repercussions of getting arrested in most states for cultivation it is worth it to eliminate as many possibilities, however improbable, of getting busted. Some risks are always necessary but try as hard as you can to not add any more risk out of laziness because a resulting bust would be unlikely or require illegal action of the law enforcement agency. Also, it always feels impossible but do your best to not look to much like a cannabis user. Personally, no matter how hard I try I end up forgetting to cut my hair and begin looking like the unabomber, which makes it difficult, but so long as I was involved with breaking immoral cannabis laws which could result in felonies, I would never even consider dread locks or visual clues of the stereotypical stoner.

How on earth did this become a question of immigration. I think 99% of the ancestors of americans on these forums, are "fools" who "won't work hard to make there own country better but just instead come here" Like it or not, at least a lot of the illegal immigrants are mostly indigenous to this continent, unlike the people who most often gripe about immigration. A lot of the societal problems we see among the illegal immigrants are very similar to what you see among destroyed aborigine tribes in australia, and tribes indigenous to the united states. These are people whose cultures have been destroyed, the rhythm of daily life in their culture has been lost, and so they have lost their footing in understanding where they stand in this world. There are places in australia where aborigine alcoholism is so bad that every morning they have to get swept off the streets. This is a very sad situation, and something all humans are susceptible to when put in this type of situation. Imagine what would happen if your culture was overwhelmed and lost with all economic opporutnity taken from you and you are dropped in a world you are completely unfamiliar. Your grandchildren would still be reeling from such ancestral displacement. It takes many many generations for these things to be overcome.

The first thought I had on this story is these guys were probably moving there house because it got hot. They probably had a house going and walked away from it.
The cops probably just watched them set up a new house and waited.

As always, it's what you're doing and how you go about doing it that counts.
All this could be eliminated if only the Feds would make available agricultural tax stamps @ $200 per year, per household.
That action would actually increase HD and many others bottom line due to everyone being able to grow, if they choose to.

Chances are they only know if they've done the same. My buddy worked at a hardware store when he was growing and would know when people were up to something. Usually no harm in this unless someone wants you DEAD

Ya a few boxes of CFL lights, it just seems that people are a bit wild about the talk. Grow equipment, plant heights, strain names, it's hard to sell a good cure.

I guess it's like the cocaine and other drugs, people don't really have mass specs at home..and to much technical mumbo jumbo makes me SICK! It's hard to focus, it seems they just want me stupid so they abuse the living hell out of my genius.

Fuck, these people don't want to admit that they poisoned me badly. It's a lot about this street drug versus pharmacy, it's not that good.

Sounds like HD needs to be shut down. Some conspiracy charges are in order too. Hydro stores have been shut down for selling to mj growers, so why not HD. I mean, they've got it on video tape. The tape led to an arrest. What more do prosecutors need?

Oh, and since they are part of a conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance, HD's property and assets should be seized. I'd say the government would get a much bigger score out of a nationwide chain than they could out of some mom and pop operation. Probably enough for all the DEA agents to be driving Porsches.
