Deficiency, fungus?

Greetings here is some background info
strains in order: blue dream, white widow, green crack. all were clones and were started under t8 32W, then transferred to 400W CMH for veg and were just finally transferred under 800W CMH for flower. They are currently in their second day. All of the plants looked very healthy until just recently and the problem is only occurring sporadically and only in 3/9 plants (almost all different strains). I have been feeding pretty lightly with R/O and light doses of grow big/calmag with a few pure r/o waterings every 2 weeks or so.

Soil: FFOF. square plastic containers. 3.2 gallon (transplanted from solo cup to a ~1.5g pot first)

Temps are about 85-90F. Passive intake. ~120CFM + plenty of fans in a 4x4x7 tent (new hydroasis tents without outgassing inner lining)

Here is a picture of the Blue Dream plant and the canopy - the other plants are pretty much the same in terms of location/vigour of the problem.

hmmm I am not sure, if those were mine, I would flush them out, check soils PH, and give them a nice feeding 450-600ppm of veg nutrients. What is your rooms RH?

I hate to say it but I have the same issue. I'm down south super high humidity even with AC unit blowing into garden. i have been stressing hard and reading many threads. It looks like fungus infection....same as mine. I purchased spectracide Immunox fungicide today. will let you know how it works. Look closely at the infected spots...you can see the fuzziness from fungus.

The RH in the room is low. I live in the southwest plus there are 3 fans running in the tent + an exhaust fan. I tried to find some strips yesterday to check my soil PH but failed miserably after 3 places haha. I am a novice but my gut intuition thinks its not PH - I am using organic soil and fed with r/o and light nutes + pure r/o waterings in between.

I removed all the leaves showing any symptoms (some were fan leaves =/) and we'll see how things go.

Sounds like it would be tough for fungus to get going in there, but it looks an awful lot like the same thing I'm dealing with. Look at the brown spot in the top pix...looks like the spot is fuzzy....fungus. Trust me I hope not!!! Let us know if it clears up.

i don't see anything that would worrie me ...but ey...thats me....could be alot of things here
and they don't even have to be big problems...could be due to irregular feeeding...maybe little to much....salty medium....so i'm going with pureknowlegde on this one..thats what i'd do...

It looks like Tobacco Mosaic virus to me. Do you smoke cigarettes? Or has anyone that smokes tobacco been handling your plants?

I have seen this a thousand times and have experienced it a couple too. If you smoke you must wash your hands thuroughly before touching your plants. My rule is- HANDS OFF!

I smoke cigarettes and I also wash my hands about 12 times a day. Especially if I plan on working with the plants.

If you think this may be the case read up on this virus and learn how to avoid it.

Mist: Very little tobacco is smoked in my house (wraps). Also, the only 2 people (myself and someone else) that actually handle the plants don't smoke tobacco and wash our hands before dealing with plants. I try and keep the whole process as clean as possible - fungi cultivation tends to do that to you. Didn't even know this was possible though, good to know

What I think happened was that some of the foliage might have touched the soil at some point and got infected then. When I transplanted some of the lower leaves were very close to the soil. I removed the lower vegitation and picked all the leaves with problems and things seem to have slowed down/subsided but we shall see.

Question: My friend has some extra neem oil - should I give it a go if the problem doesnt completely go away?

never do this, let the plant leech out what it can from the plant so it doesn't crawl to the next leaf right away

for the plant, looks like P to me, every plant pic has purpling stem in it..

its necrotic tissue, look at the underside of the leaf to tell for sure. I couldnt tell you what caused it tho. Notice the chlorosis (sp) surrounding the necrotic patch ( the yellowing ). 1st pic gives it away, 2nd 2 are questionable

Any way to get runoff readings? Could be K def, PH is off, etc.. In the second pic it looks like the leaf margins are sleightly starting to curl / roll up

I side with the def guys. IMO, the spots look like a calcium def. I agree with checking the pH runoff, probably a little low. I think the yellowing is a mag def disguised by rust.

Removing the affected leaves before fixing the problem will cause the condition to go to the next set of leaves.

It looks like early onset magnesium def to me. Those chevrons are a dead give away. As for the brown spots..I believe that's just from getting wet when you water. Same thing happens to mine given the same scenario.

I think you are right. He has both lockout and a fungus problem. I hate to say it but I think I'm in the same bind. Will know more in a week or so.

Either Calcium or Mag deficiency/lock-out I'm saying, Frank nailed it I think. I would follow PureKnowledge's advice personally.
