I have one DSD pheno that tastes amazing, but it is almost all on the diesel side, no strawberry flavor. It tastes like lemon drop candy.

The strawberry phenos are tasty, but not as potent.

I like most herb, be it an electric Sativa or a Mellow Indica. They each have their application in my life, and some I definitely want stronger so I don't have to constantly re-medicate..so your theory just got busted.

I definitely look for flavor as a #1 trait in my favorite herbs, as a matter of fact I always look for very tastey Sativas and Indicas, I also have strains that I choose mainly because of a desired effect, but that is an EXCEPTION. There are also strains that have a great effect, but I really don't care for the taste, therefore I don't grow them any more..

haha, purple kush is one of the most common strains around here in Norcal. It is exceptional none the less. Whenever it is done right and allowed to go the full 10 weeks it is great! Never pluck it at 8 because it lacks quality immensely

Thanks for the tip, 10 weeks + seems to be about avg. for the Kush lines.

The ch9 flower i grew really suprised me. Was some of the tastiest weed i've grown. Actually wasn't expecting too much, but it was so good i have more in flower now.

Jack herer is probably my favourite though, along with jack crosses like black jack and jack47 from sweetseeds. I've also got some green poison going now which is supposedly breed for "near perfect taste". It smells absolutely fantastic, which usually equates to good taste aswell.

First, i have to say that comparing your smoke to a hammer is a pretty lame (it was called strange, but i call BS on that) analogy. At least... at the very least, compare it to beer or whiskey or better yet, wine- since much of the nations best ganja is coming from California wine country. Lets just assume for the sake of the argument that we're just using cannabis to get fucked up. (now that I have offended the hammer guy, and the medical users, I'll go on...)

There are some people who, in addition to wanting to get fucked up, want their experience to involve more... we call these people with taste. they desire to appreciate that which they put into their bodies in as many ways as possible.

Then there are the people who drink Bud Light... or Coors Light... its cheap, taste doesn't bother them, and it gets them fucked up. these are people without taste.

Well-grown elite strains are for one market and m39 out of british colombia smuggled in the bunghole of a sasquatch is for the other to be enjoyed with their dinner of hormel chili and plastic handle of popov vodka.

And to the cat who said that if an herb has the proper effect on you, it couldn't possibly taste bad... he never smoked Mr. Nice by Mr. Nice. great high for me... almost ideal, but it tastes and smells like pure dogshit and i literally don't want to be in the same room with it.

My favorite tasting strains (right now) are the Sour D I just pulled out of forced flower and the Cough. The mutherfucking Cough. Not the Strawberry Cough. The Cough. If you're from Portland , OR or Ft Collins, CO you have probably had some. It takes the "piney" quality to its heights... to the point where piney becomes dank-as-fuck kush. Hoping to get a clone of this very soon.

You said only two. But I just can'r leave it at that. when a real cut of the Og is grown well its sublime. And The Blue Dream... that has its own unique spice that I am in love with. I'll have some coming down in the fall, but I am really looking forward to the greenhouse run of it in January. Also... my boy in El Honduragua grew some amazing tasting strains that I will never forget, but the absolute star was reeferman's Island Sweet Skunk.

Just from what I read, he doesn't have many good strains. I never smoked ANY of his gear to say for sure.

man... that island sweet skunk, grown with supplemental light in the tropics was really dank. its funny, cuz the first year I cam to norcal to check things out, a homie was running only reeferman strains. Love Potion #9 and the ISS... the LP9 was an absolutely amazing high. Clean and clear. Like "please direct me to the nearest heavy machinery so that I may operate it."

However they did drop all the reeeferman gear after that year. I never asked them why exactly.

My best taster to date was just flat out pure luck in bagseed form. Pretty little sativa dominant mix of some kind. Produced like no bodies business even though she go no special care and was just shuffled around being ignored for some projects with expensive genes.

The most overt ruby red grapefruit nose and every type of citrus under the sun having an orgy on the palette. If only I had known how it was going to turn out. I would have kept her going and cloned and cloned and cloned. I still have a little..... well maybe less in a bout ten minutes.

I know one that no one has said yet that NEEDS to be mentioned... golden goat created by Mr. Dank using ISS/Romulan X Hawaiian Sativa (all from Federation)... it has a taste i have never encountered before.. fruity but not like anything else really.... some really good Jack H ive had almost had the same kind of taste kinda haha... Bubba Kush almost always tastes just wonderful if its done right and is very available depending where you are...i dont think ive seen anyone mention ChemD or Chemo at all either... kinda weird cause thats the bomb....gotta love the Kush smells though too... i love Pot of Gold and pretty much anything that tastes at all like Hindu Kush...and if you like the decrepid kinda smells then youll love trainwreck which i equate to the disgusting taste you get in your throat when your sick and are draining snot down your throat haha... i LOVE IT
