The bending tips thing didnt work out for me - they would straighten too quick and I dont have the time to check/bend them that often - I topped them.

It is a cool method though and seems like it might produce more depending on some things.

awesome.. nice use of 2 little tents. every smoker should have 2 little tents in my opinion!

I started out with a 250w HPS in a dresser and 70w MH in a file cab. Funs times.


What are your yeilds like? 4-5oz every 8 weeks or so?

Have you ever looked into SCROG. Squeezes every bit of that 250w..as they dont have good penetration. Might be a bit of a pain in your situation though as you'd loose the ability to move each plant individually.

I just got this setup going this grow so I have no results yet.
On my last grow (first grow) I got almost 3oz from my first 2 plants.
I get my tallest plant within an inch of the glass on my reflector. I cant wait to upgrade one day in the future to atleast a 400 or 600 and can raise up the reflector some.

Day 29 veg
4 were topped yesterday (I tried bending them but the first 2 snapped so I just thought to screw it and top um but held off on 2 and tried again today and got the 2 to bend nicely.

Day 39 12/12
Upped my nutes from 1tsp T.Bloom & 2tsp B.Bloom to 2tsp TB & 3tsp BB today
Been slowly yellowing - advice?

I see the problem in your picture. You didn''t pinch the stem and crush it all the way around before you bent it over. Without doing that you will always break them as you found out. Try crushing the stem then bend them over and you can still use it on your topped plants and get more growth.

MaT are at about 31 days veg now - I think I spotted 2 nuts on 1 plant already

The purp is about 41 days in 12/12 now - advice? I've upped the nutes - the tips (2-3mm) look burned but they have been for a while now

The bagseed is at about 17 days 12/12

One more post for advice before I water/feed the purp - I fed last time so was going to water but yellowing is continuing - another feeding?
(feeding was 3 days ago - today the soil should be just about all dry)

edit - the FF chart says to use Grow Big on the 3rd/4th week of 12/12(havent used it at all in 12/12)- N def? Should I add 1tsp/gal?
