My card reader broke and I cannot post pics. This frustrates me. I know this is an internet forum and pics are crucial, Sorry everyone. I am super busy and and I am trying to make this as interesting as possible minus the pics. I feel like I am failing because of the lack of interest. I am thankful for everyone that has stopped in, EVERYONE. I am humbled that such fine people would take time to help me and provide help and support. Forgive me if I did not thank everyone.

I decided that I am going to continue with this thread even if no one at all reads any of this or if I never get another response. There is a reason I am doing this as I have mentioned and out of respect for those individuals I am going to continue posting.

Found out the problem, broken pin on the card reader. These things are made soo cheap now. This is the second one we have gone through.
The Camera itself is so old that no driver exists for it. I will get a new reader soon. till then no pics

Pollination Has Happened.

It has happened.The chosen females and the worthy males have been sorted. Male pollen is/has been collected. Whole clones of chosen females are being pollinated. This is the fun part. I love doing this.
As I look back at all the plants that were sorted through and selected,it feels good to be at this point. A completion in a way. A new start in another.
On to the good stuff. The males that were selected this round were amazing. Most people would have been wishing these were girls, not me. I planted seeds specifically looking for males. Boy did I get my wish

-I made this cross for a couple of different reasons. First is to improve the taste of Sensi Star. Second was to give the Sensi star a better nodal profile. Third was cause both are Badass plants in the resin department and want to keep this a resin bomb.
Gdp X NorCal Purps
I made this cross for two reasons. One, to keep my Purple line in seed. Two, to give a better profile to the GDP. They are in fact almost the same thing, but they are a little different.

JIT, many people including myself read and ogle at the pics without leaving a comment.
As a first timer who just harvested his first plant, I have nothing except praise to offer.
It's hard to continue heaping praise once a day as it gets redundant.

On page three, someone posted a long comment with much good info.
On aspect I found of interest is Sweet spot fantasy

As I said, I just harvested my first legal grow and it was a 50/50 disaster.
I've got buds but, compared to your garden, I'm ashamed to show it side by side.

I do however suffer from Sweet spot fantasy and am hopeful of having better grows in the near future.

I have Nepali Highland Sativa, Ethiopian Highland Sativa & Mazar I Shariff Indica landrace.
I am hopeful to cross each to the other as well as preserve them in their own strain.
I have some Nepali pollen today from my first two plants and while it may be too early to tell, it looks like I may have 3 female Ethiopians and one female Mazar.

What I am attempting is to produce a good medical cross for patients here in Michigan.
I'm hopeful these crosses will grow well outdoors as well as indoors @ 45 latitude.

here in down south we are living a time of much praises and hope (our GOV are considering descriminalization and permission to grow your own at private) and belive me mate there are some fine sweet spots here still...

Aloha to everyone. Where to start? I am knee deep in pollen.People freaking out about my males, no,not the human kind, but DA KIND
My male plants are in full flower. The stretch is done, the nodes are tight, the sacs are bursting.The flowers are full and ripe. Pollen everywhere One thing I don't understand is that the pollenation from the Pineapple x Bubba D. was successful. The pollination of Pineapple x Sensi Star was not? WTF . I used the old tried an true method of letting the clone and the donor grow up together on the first one and I used a paint brush on the second. Was/is the pollen sterile? Was it not fresh enough? I have done the paint brush thing for years, only thing I can come up with is that it was a used brush. Was that it?

I've been lurking on your thread checking it out every time you post. I'm trying breeding and try to keep tabs on as many other projects as possible to better improve my grow/seeds. I don't even have burst pollen sacks yet so your ahead of me. Yours is one of the biggest hobby breeding going on right now if i'm not wrong.

SHIT check my thread in my signature. 90% of the posts are by me and tons of pictures. If no one stops by i don't really care it's fun for me and I have my own little corner of ICmag to call my own. Don't do it for others do it for you and you'll be much more happy.

I think everyone breeding home projects should send them in maybe sell for $5 a pack to raise some money and use the community here as test growers.

The same concept as distributed computing. You can't crack the human gnome on your home PC but millions of PC's linked across the world can make short work of it. One grower with a 400hps can't grow thousands of beans but a thousand growers with a thousand HPS lights can find that one or two special plants, cross it with something solid and re introduce it to the community. Might sound like my crazy plan for world cannabis domination but i have alot of time on my hands these days.

I think everyone breeding home projects should send them in maybe sell for $5 a pack to raise some money and use the community here as test growers.

I don't mean to be sounding nasty or mean, but if it flowers in 9 weeks, and the source doesn't even know how to spell Colombia, I'd be reluctant to think it is actually Colombian, maybe columbian as in from british columbia, but not colombian. Colombia, the country is not spelled with a "u". Some people from colombia aren't happy to see their country misspelled. Sounds like a lovely grow and project all the same though.
