I do like the looks of the Bud formation of this Bubba Kush x OG Kush.. I hope to see them in force later on.

Here is my Male that will be making seeds for me.. The female has flower clusters similar to the male but She isn't ready to have her photo taken she said..

So This Guy's nick Name is "Stud Muffin" He is as quick at flowering as his Lady..
I will be storing pollen to pollinate the other ladies so he has been pulled forward to not only stop light burn but so I can see him better..

Big feed Aug 20th

Big feed Aug 20th

This was a big feed of both micronized solids and liquid including the apple sauce I'm experimenting with this time out.
There is now a new layer of materials on the soil and the soil has been drenched completely.

I posted about micronizing and the materials I fed in the Flour thread
For the liquid it was a bit of Molasses and fish emulsion plus the apple sauce. I hope I got it all in there.. That's the last big one!

It sure smelled good! I have to say that about my mixes they are pleasant to smell especially applied.

I had the fortune to get information on my two Doctors.. They take a long time to flower so I can just relax. It's going to be a few weeks yet. I have never had strains that take that long under 12/12 Wow.. That's new for me.

So I fed the soil for a long haul with both Doctors and both White Rhinos not showing much for flowering yet. Hello greenhouse that's odd from my point of view..

However, The Bubba x OG is a fast flowering plant and it's looking gorgeous so far in it's young budding state.

I will be busy training plants I am sure. Today was the last day I can let them be.. I have to start training them tomorrow.. They have recovered from the major cut back..

Well here is "GirlFriend" my Female Bubba Kush x OG Kush. Shot with a small fluorescent back light I believe her health is apparent.

I sure enjoy posting the threads.. I hope you enjoy.

Looking good Jack, but I agree with Verdant. It's going to get quite tight in there when start to flower! :D

7 inches left and you havent flipped them yet?? - i would have a plan b ready or perhaps try and lst them a bit more now whlist you can. some of my strains stretch much more than that.

also i was wondering if you've ever had rodent/critter/rancid issues with using foodstuffs as fertilizer/microherd food?

V.

Now that I know the "Rest of the Story" I can tell ya both the Doctors are notorious Huge plants! I just learned more about growing them and I could have filled the whole box with just one plant.. I thought so. They were monster children.

It will be a fight as they have recovered from the major trim I gave them.
And I just fed them.. I'm ready now..

Thanks for the concern but there were some pieces of information missing that I have now so I didn't know what was best to do..

^ What sack said :D

Have you flipped yet Jack?

I'd consider trimming/bending them if its only been a few days...

Not sure what else to suggest lol

Just a FYI everyone..

"The Doctor" is notorious BIG.. Pun intended.

I thought it would do well alone in the box and I have found out that is what people do! One under a 600 watt light..

There are two of them in there.

So "pray for me Forrest" cuz I'm very employed in plant management in a tight place.

Man.. Lets see what I can do with that green plant tie tape..

I'll be taking pictures soon..

August 21st Week two of 12/12

August 21st Week two of 12/12

I took action after thinking about it.

The Doctor is a long flower type and a fast grower. I'm getting more than a plant with these two, I'm learning.
Both the Doctor and the White Rhino's are still not flowering.. Two weeks now. The two Bubba x OG are budding well.. I'm having to bind and pull them over but it's all good.

So One cut down and it grew right back so it's cut down number two..

Not budding yet so what does it mater..

Here are the two Doctors and the mulch from the cut down trim. The Fiskers are getting a workout.

The news is yes the right rear White Rhino is flowering but in a selective way.. I'm not sure what will make these two happy but I'm guessing they want more direct light.. They will have to do with their placement this time!

The Stars are the Kush. With StudMuffin and Girlfriend starting to show a little frost they have been tied close together and I see Studmuffin dropped some pollen today for the first time.. Just a few but it knows the lady is waiting.

Nice.. F2's should be righteous. Look at Studmuffin's flowers. They both exhibit excellent formation characteristics.

The Doctors were cut back hard as I figure they are the last to bloom and grow so well. They will get all the TLC I can give them now..

Like I said White Rhino.. Eh.. it's not so happy with it's placement but let it seed, let it seed, let it seed! Most deff the more "diesel" of the three. I figure that is some chronic smoke. Crossed with Kush? We shall see.

So hey all! Here are two shots of Girlfriend and one of Studmuffin my two Kush plants.

The Land of Spent male Flowers

The Land of Spent male Flowers

Just shook the tree and the pollen went like a yellow cloud right into the path of the fans which are aimed at the two ladies flowering. That's the major seeding..

That's three out of six flowering.. One White Rhino and the One Bubba x OG.

That's probably it for natural pollination. Studmuffin is getting to the end of his cycle. So it's time to store what he has left. I will be trying out a method of harvest I thought of.. I'll post about it once I see the results.

So that leaves both Doctors and one White Rhino that have not flowered yet! Sad.. I'm not used to such a delay.

Well then it's a 50/50 crowd unless I hand pollinate.
I would like to have a cross with the Doctor just to try it out someday so, we shall see.. Three weeks to go till flowering I understand.. Wow huh.. 6 weeks under 12/12 to show.. LOL.. Then watch out I understand!

All in all it's a happy garden.. The Bubba x OG is a bit pissy about getting dry but that's okay She is heavy with seed for sure! I'll water more and I have a treat in mind just for her trunk..

Looking good Jack.

I think the trim will help promote fatter/denser buds if you did it right.

I like the male flowers all over the soil photo. Pure plant-porn :D

Daddy's all gone ( A james Taylor pun )

Daddy's all gone ( A james Taylor pun )

Well I see my Lady Bubba x OG is showing signs of a good seeding and also a little sticky..
Nice Genetics Krytonite! Seriously She has not had the care she could have.

So young so seeded and so frosty at a young age! Love it!

So I took the Mr out tonight. I will try to catch some pollen off him as I made a makeshift catch and put the cuts in water .. I like this Strain because with the ( Most Excellent ) Hindu Kush F2's I had way back in the daze the males went heavy and then didn't want to do more. Bada Boom and no more Bing.. Daddy here kept on growing balls.. I have to think that is a factor in cola development. Maybe Bing Bing? Maybe Frost City?

And a cross I will want to see about is the White Rhino x Bubba ~ OG Now these two WR ladies got a bad deal with the Doc's and BxOG's Crowding them So, they are doing what they can. But now that Daddy B~OG is gone they have some room and I hope they do better especially with the seed they carry!

Still no Go on the Doctors but I feel dumb.. I had tape over the LED on the GFI and I saw today it wasn't on there? Could be the reason flowering has been delayed>? Damn silly if it is.. I got tape over the LED now.. We shall see. They are the ones directly under that LED.. DOH!

It's all good as Daddy was taking up the center of the box.. There is a lot of room now!

Well it's all good here! I can't wait for some proper Organic Meds.. I know I've gone too long!

Frosty indeed!

It could well be that the LED delayed flowering.

Look on bright side... At least you found the problem :D

I hope so..

It works out well.. Karma is cool when it deals a good hand..

So the last stretch ( horse racing pun intended ) will see the Doctors flowering and the question is: IS the Indica Dom Tuti~Fruity? The Sativa Dom is Mango.. That I know face first ,, er first hand.. So far the Indica Dom is a demure sister being so close to the S. Dom wunder werk.. I like that, shy and holding on to her secret. We shall see..

So I am giving a waver on the White Rhino.. They took the back 40.. So their place was to breed.. Still I assume there will be a couple nice buds to consume.

The F2's of the Kush should be in the plenty realm.. I will consider sharing with proper people.. That means Medical people in California.. If the law changes I will put the F2's up for adoption.. Any loving homes out there?

Ah so close to Organic relief but still so far to go!

Now what to feed the soil... I'm considering the Black Soldier fly leach in a mix.. It's exotic with the peaches I've fed! Organic Peaches that is..

Hey, Jack. The garden is looking real good and I've been skimming your posts trying to catch up. But I do have a question for you. What's the purpose of the apple sauce? Did I speed read right over it? I got a jar of it that has gone south on me with mold. I even got a plant to go all Dr. Frankenstein on. So spill the beans, Jack ole boy. lol
I'm sorry I didn't see your question to me earlier. I believe you were referring to my daughter. If so, yeppers all married off and her room is in the process of becoming a nursery. lol For plants. Not grandkids. She's in no hurry and neither are the wife and I. lol

What? Not your Nakkid room? LOL I saw that in some movie..

Damn Vetus Fossor I thought no one would ask about the apple sauce! I was sure I was in the clear!

Damn...

To tell ya the truth.. It's because I can.. I bet there is some benefit someone can list but WTF it's microbe food! lol!:yoinks:

tHAT'S THE TRUTH! I sware!

So it's open to interpretation... LOL

Just another carb as far as I know And it goes through the sprayer okay..

Apple sauce, mangoes, papayas, et al. are used by some people in their aerated compost teas. Then again others argue 'loudly' that this is not a good idea.

I'm with adding them but what do I know?

CC

Yummm I like those myself..

What I need to clear up is the apple sauce is part of the liquid feed.

I brew cowboy coffee add fish emulsion, kelp, azomite, honey or molasses or both and whatnot along with the apple sauce.

My sprayer has the "spray" end cut off so it is a liquid pump..

I don't know.. In the context of all the other stuff it's seems to be harmless. Gnats might like it more but there is decomposition going on all the time in my medical box so I'd have no real clue what effect apple sauce has good or bad.. I'd say in this context it's safe to apply every liquid feed.. I don't liquid feed but three or four times in a plants life.. the rest is miconized stuff.

Mango? I'm sort of in favor but mango is really syrupy from my experiences.. Maybe dry and micronized.. hey dry fruit micronized? Thanks for the idea!

Nuts too maybe..

I apologize. I was talking about adding fruit to the compost mix when making a tea, not adding it to your soil - LOL

RE: Nuts

The fish enzyme product from Neptune's Harvest has advertising materials which make the point of fish enzyme (vs. fish emulsion) containing high levels of Omega-3 and Omega-6 oils which are also found in nuts.

You may be onto something!

You have to like pregnant woman to like these shots

You have to like pregnant woman to like these shots

Thanx CC I just might try both.. Why not?

I was going to call it a night when the ESP came online and said "we need water."

Who am I to argue.. The soil seems good but I'm sure I'm being called to serve.. I am Johny on the spot with the needs here in Garden Central.

So before I call it a night I will water but here are two shots of the left White Rhino.. What a difference a day makes for White Rhino!

None of the ladies are showing pistils on their tops that I can see with my eyes except the Indica dominate Doctor! Yes she has flowered a bit.. Her nickname is "Little Sister" her big sister "Wunder Werk" isn't flowering yet but she was the closest to the LED so maybe that is a factor.
