I have only heard that there will be an overworked version of chronic, but maybe it is just a rumor?

So for the first question if there will be new strains I have looked at the serious seeds forum and found this conversation:

I was just browsing through the new soft secrets uk mag enjoying my morning cuppa and AK wake & bake and came across this. Note the photo credit in bottom right corner. Don't know if it was a typo or does this mean the cat is out of the bag? Maybe Claude can provide a little insight?

You surprising me this morning with this.
I just spoke with Simon and he is telling me that this is an error from the magazine and the name is not something that Simon would have chosen for a name.

Simon: Como sabeis todavia tenemos un pequeño catálogo de sólo cinco variedades diferentes. Esto no se debe a que sea dificil hacer nuevas semillas y pensar un nuevo nombre. De hecho es muy facil. El problema es que las variedades nuevas no me satisfacen facilmente...

I have all but white Russian ,man i hope Simon comes up with a new strain . i might grab a new pack of kalimist . but i have plenty of f2 from a pack of 03 .and i have 10 seeds from a pack of 15 of chronic from the same area. and a new pack of there ak. when i bought there ak47 . i got 3 cherry phenos in one pack a did cross it to a Mexican bag seed from the 90s.
i waqs new to growing but i did grow some out and the high was electric .it sent my brother into panic mood and he never smokes any after that .it had huge yields .i got one pound off one bush type plant . you can never go wrong with serious seeds .
i hope simon comes up with a new sativa.

From Serious Seeds Homepage:
Female seeds still prove to be unreliable; they are not consistantly high-quality, nor are the plants 100% female, especially when grown outdoors.
Therefore we choose still not to start selling female seeds.
As with our other products, when we have something "serious", we will release it.

I just asked Simon some questions about AK-47 here is his reply

there have been no changes to the AK for a few years now. The higher change
for the Cherry-type is new to me. Autoflowering we've heard about.
Looking at your email, I don't know what "....from root bound." means.
So, there are 2 things I wonder about;
1) is it really autoflowering, or are they mistaken abundant pre-flowers (4
on each knot) for actual flowering? People thinking they have a problem
because they don't know the difference between pre- and actual flowering.
This has happened several times in the past, also from before autoflower
came into fashion. But now they just call it as such.
2) is (are) some shop(s) tampering wiht the original seeds and packaging and
replacing with 'their own seeds', which may be even offspring of
autoflowering plants??
We 've had a few reports also about supposedly auto-flowering, it seems that
those (just 2 may be 3 cases) were bought from the same outlet.

It is just something against my nature to come out wiht something I'm not absolutely satisfied about. We have a new nameless thing in development with such a nice flavour, hopefully another 6 months. And the new outdoor off course, 6 months to 1 year?
