Well, science fiction does require imagination. I totally understand people being unable to immerse themselves into it--which can be similar to reading a book I suppose.

It's a must see for sci-fi headz, that much is certain.

The director was supposed to make the Halo movie, but it never got off the ground. Here is a link to the short he made for Halo. It is similar to District 9 in that it was shot using hand held cameras with similar techniques. I think its pretttttty goooood...

Nice to see a trailor or commercial for a movie where they don't show you the entire moving during the commercial run. I hate that shit

Yeah pretty much the entire movie Im just sitting there, "wtf is going on, is this for real?" Its definitely not what the previews made it out to be, if you can just go along with some crazy ass makes no sense in any world shit then this prob won't bother you

Just got done watchin it. Not bad, but I'm sure it will look better on the big screen. One of the more creative sci fi movies I've seen lately. Think we are gonna see another one? Sure would be easy to write.

It was a great. I love that Vicar dude. He reminded me of Michael Scott from "The Office" but
with a South African accent.

This is definitely a movie to be seen on the big screen.

Saw it last night and really enjoyed it. Definately a must see movie. I took my 11yr old nephew to see Transformers and GI-Joe recently. District 9 is a real Sci-Fi movie not a Hollywood version of a comic book.

One of the better films to come out in a long time really hope they make another one.

Sounds like a movie I should check out, I can stomach and love the weirdest of Scifi/fantasy movies, weird=interesting.

I saw it a few days ago, it was alright, kept me entertained. Would of probably of enjoyed it more if it hadn't been so hyped up as an amazing film. Should of waited and watched it in the cinema I guess.

I haven't sat down and watched TV since June, so I had not heard of this movie. I went and looked it up on the net and it looks like a great plot.
