No problem as usual, just happy to see the girls growing.

Ok here's the deal here below is a link to the exact PDF back issue with the article, it is on page 07 of 41

http://maximumyield.com/assets/pdf/back_issues/usa/MY_USA_May_09_d.pdf

Everyone who has ever had to deal with pH read this article it'll give you clarity as to why you have such wide pH flux.

In case a mod removes the link it's the May 09 back issue of Maximum Yield, the 4th PDF out of 4, on page 07 of 41.
Check this out Leo-when I mix and test my nute solution-I use a gallon milk jug with a air pump tube stuck down inside(down through the handle part) after adding nutes-I stick my PH meter( which happens to fit perfectly in the neck of the container) into the gallon with the air bubblin up the solution, I then wait about an hour to get a solid reading-I think I've been doin this all along without knowing what exactly it was that I was doing.

It doesn't look like any better cannabis put an interesting idea, just to focused on a spectrum. I took apart my UV generator and got a sun and lung burn, a bit not used to the sun. It was not pretty, it's just dangerous having indoor grows that are not CFL's even those require cables to be stapled with the things that gently hammer in. Not a staple gun, but those goofy white with two nail pieces, not good at tools myself. I don't know what to do with estates, it's just not right every time.

BF74 That sounds exactly like what they're describing, ok well good, I made that rookie mistake when I first attempted hydro and it had me frustrated to my wits end, (that and Pure Blend Pro was pH fluxing all the time, I'm still not sure if it was the water solution or the organic materials in PBP breaking down)

Burmese NEVER, I MEAN NEVER take apart an Ozone generator to use the UV LED inside, those are HIGHLY DANGEROUS, they can EASILY BLIND YOU, and have blinded many a curious gardener, PLEASE for your own SAFETY, return it to the device it came from the shielding that packaged it.

I can't stress this enough the UV LED used in Ozone generation is NOT the plant or human friendly type, it's EXTREMELY DANGEROUS for your health and the health of others, consider yourself warned.

I seriously do hope you didn't do any long term damage to yourself.

I used Pure Blend as well-had the ph flux too.Have you tried, or heard of Technaflora's Pura Vida grow and bloom- pre digested organics, works like a chem fert in that since there isnt anything to break down into a useable form, the nutes are immediately taken up by the plants.I've been using it in soil, and rockwool with outstanding results.Heres the led grow-

I'm now convinced leds need cfl, or hps help to pull dense nugs-I harvested that blue hash plant(pure led)-12 f-in grams:mad:, I'm calling it now-the hps will absolutely clobber the led grow. After this grow I'll be shuttin the thread down.LED's will only be used for veg.As now I'm convinced they should be.Fuckin 12 grams my ass.

sorry to hear that LEDs just might not have the power yet to flower some good stash at decent weight.

not yet, not by themselves-hey, I gave it a shot-and I'm still going to finish this grow-but after that, it's back to 600w hps, and AC.I think I've exhausted the capabilities of the led industry at present, I think, hope, I've done my part by showing you guys what these things can really do.I always knew that the guys using their own high powered units we're on to something-bigger diodes, more lumens= superior results.Check out the homebrew units on led lab 2009-those guys, real growers, are on to something.More lumens per watt-not magically colored spectrums.12g off of a 3' plant that looked like it should have put out at least an ounce, whatever.

Data is data.

Data is data.

Mahalo fo' da props, brah.

Here, have a taste of my frosty girl.:joint:
A little 730nm. at bedtime and some sloppy CO2 enhancement off and on, fattened and tightened up the buds.

You could use these pups as door knockers.

We owe you for your experiments, BF.

You put your time, money, and meds on the line.
Showed that, "chasing rainbows", is a beeg waste of time .
Poked it, an' pinched it, an stayed up all night.
Got very little, an dat wasn't right.:frown:

You have advanced LED growing science for everyone.
Goodonya, brah, Mahalo nui!

I'm almost done with my futzing as well.
Now that my led grow is functional, I have a current "blue card" and can legally grow in Free tropical sunlight.:jump:

Will prolly use the Frankenlight to isolate the odd bloomer for pollination and to keep my cuttings happy.

Well done, sir!:respect:

Thank you my friend, that does mean alot. And with hind-site being 20/20-I wished I'da gone the same route as you and the rest of the gents on led lab 2009.I hate to think of the Weeze not building his own gear. But the sun man, the sun.Whatsa little handful of diodes do compared to our giant atomic mother? I bet the mad scientist in you wont sit still for long tho.I hope not.Well man, the leds are in dry-dock now, Don Quixote has dropped his jousting rod...the windmills are all safe now.

BF ~ i appreciate the thread and effort. i always wondered if LEDs were good for flowering. sorry to hear about the poor yield.

the guy at my hydro shop said if i used LED for flowering i'd have to go with at least 2000W. the price tag was crazy for a LED fixture with that much wattage.

thanks again for the share :joint:
