Tex, I've read all the entries in your thread from the beginning, and would like to thank you for all the effort that you put into reporting this mega-grow for us. Those girls really took off when the rains finally ended, the sun came out and the temps started hitting 100!

Pest control is one thing that you obviously have a handle on. Have you needed to spray much for insects and mites? I haven't noticed much damage to the girls in your patch. Spider mites can really be hell in Texas - I used to live around DFW, and was forced to spray both indoors and out. Still I had problems, especially with Borg.

Best wishes to your family and child. Healing vibes coming your way ...

:woohoo: peeps visit me say the same LOL lots of work removing weed but like ya said high trafic area no need 4 a man to remove weed , when ya walk around ya plants 20 times each day :D

I'm amazed Tex:)
Do you have any idea how large the area you're growing in is?
How much space are you giving each plant?

You're right man it's ALOT of work to turn that many large plants into smokeable/useable product. I'm growing 4 or 5 varieties so I'm counting on a staggered harvest. I have saved up some vacation days at work just in case things get too over-whelming.

For me growing MJ is a two-step process- growing and harvesting. Harvesting and what you do with it after it's picked is half the process, much easier than the growing but still half the process. There's nothing better than good ole homegrown MJ that's been properly dried and cured. When you only produce one crop a year like me you want want to be sure it'll store and keep well. Otherwise by spring time you may find your primo bud has turned to shwag, and nobody likes shwag.

Peace :D
