Thanks for stopping by and no worries Mel, glad to see you in here!! I was just over to your guys thread a little while ago, your grow looks tip top. Can't wait to see how those turn out for you.

Here is a quick update, I finally got off my lazy ass and transplanted them this weekend. I went ahead and put them in 2 gallon pots and may just throw them into 12/12 in another week. I think they are at about 30 days now, I should be alright flowering them at 5-6 weeks right? I am trying something a little different this time around. I added extra perlite to my soilless mix (3 parts soil to 1 part perl). I have also put in a tower fan next to my air intake int the flower tent. I am hoping that this will make for a better rooting system.

They may look a little droopy as I just transplanted and watered. They have stayed pretty short so far compared to some of my diesel crosses I have done recently. I am sure now that they have fresh soil and more room, they will take off in a hurry.

Hi OG they are looking great m8 nice tight node spacings, I think you will be fine to flower them in a week or so i think ours started to show their sex not long after if not around 30 days so they should be sexually mature any day now

Ours are now just over 65cm seems they are growing about 2-3 cm a day

Keep up the good show bro
stay safe

ojd,
Thank you bro. I will probably throw them into 12/12 this weekend. Looking forward to trying these out. I believe this is the first time I grew a haze out now that I think of it. Wonder if it will be a 90+ day flower?

Sack,
Thanks for stopping by!! Hope that you can stick around to see how these turn out.

Ido,
How's it going bro? I thought that the shorter one would be from the OG Kush gene but I have not grown any of these strains before so wasn't sure.

mellomel,
How's it going sister? Thanks, I will be heading over to your guy's thread next lol.

I will post a pic update in a couple more days. Can't wait to get these into flower!!!

Hazes are lots of fun OG,that screen I had the 3 treiis under was meant for one haze plant! I've only gone to 13 1/2 weeks so far, just got some Mountain High Haze that goes 100+ days! As soon as I move and upgrade they are on the list.(with grape krush, some freebie purple bastard x bogglegum,LUI,Pine Tar Kush,I just scored some tom hill deep chunk....)

That sounds like a great round up you have there Uncle. I have some Pine Tar Kush I would like to run sometime soon. I was just gifted a clone of ChemD from a kind fellow Icer (you know who you are bro!!!), I think it be a nice cross ChemD X PTK.

Well all of the Platinum's have been in flower for 2 days now. They are starting the stretch already. I am wondering how high these will go? They were only vegged for a month so I should have plenty of height in the tent.

Hey Oregon_Guy....been watching and reading.

Great job so far! I have 2 packs of these for a rainy day....so I was kinda wondering...

In you last pics, I notice each stage of new growth is just slightly less green and getting a bit more yellow. I am pretty sure that is a sign of needing a bit more nitrogen. Since you are just putting them into flower, I know you normally ease off the nitrogen, but looks like these will still be needing a bit of it through the stretch at least...

Now with the sativa influence, these should be lighter feeders in theory....

I am really just curious to see if my observations are correct, and what you think / your experience thus far with them as far as feeding goes. I'm always trying to learn more!!!

Thanks, bro!

Thank you for stopping by Dank,
I am glad that you asked that question and maybe someone that know's more than I can answer. I have always noticed that lighter shade of green showing up during the stretch of 12/12. These were given a full dose of FN grow just a couple of days before I threw them into flower. I just gave them the first bloom dose yesterday at 1 week 12/12. Do you think I should be giving a slightly higher dose of N at the flip? While watering yesterday, they seemed to show a darker shade of green. I will try to snap a few pics tonight and show.

As far as feeding through veg, they did not seem too be sensitive to the nutes at all. I gave them the recomended dose of grow, I do not have a ppm and just watch the plant. When they show too dark of a color I back off and too light I add a little more at next feeding. The tap water is PH'd and tempature's are in check. I have been running the veg lights at 24/0.

Anyone have any input?

Hey OG, they are looking good. I agree with ojd about the nutes. Our's were hungry girls and we noticed the same light green/yellow new growth too. We just continued A and B grow nutes for 2 weeks into 12/12 @ ec 1.7 We have started to see some yellowing from the bottom up though so we gave them a dose of fish emulsion(high N). And it seems to be doing the job...
And I would agree with ojd aswell with topping or training them. We wish we knew to do that. They are some big girls if let go. We topped ours only once.We Should've kept it up. I hope this helps you...Goods luck & Stay safe...

OJD,
I apoligize for not being more attentive to this thread the last couple of weeks. Just been crazy busy lately, I have been taking care of the babies though lol. I have plenty of head room in my tent for a good stretcher, they can go to almost 6 feet before I have to tie down. The only thing lacking in my flower tent is lumens and I have a Solar Max super HPS bulb on the way here until I can upgrade to a 600. I have a standrad phillips 400 that has been running a constant 12/12 for 3 months. I am thinking that a better spectrum bulb will increase flower production.

mellomel,
Thanks for stopping in and your tips. Maybe I should start giving a larger dose of grow when I throw them into 12/12. I have been growing straight up lately just to maximize the variety of strains in the tent. I seem to suffer quick burn out smoking the same strain, so I try to get 3-4 different each harvest. I can't wait to hear how that Orange X Bubble turns out for you.

Sleepy,
Thanks for stopping by and your nice comments!!!

Nothing really big to report with these. They have been into 12/12 for 2 weeks now and still have not shown any sign of sex yet. I am thinking that the Haze may take a little longer than others to start budding?? They have had a healthy stretch and they probably have a little bit more to go. Still they have remained at a very managble 3 1/2 feet or so. There is still that light shade of green but they do seem to have darkened up a little bit. Yesterday they received a full dose of Bloom & Kool Bloom. I shouldn't add any more N at this point should I ??

Here is a pic update, all phenos are pretty similar with only slight varations in
the width of leaves, stretch etc.

You may notice some shiny sheen on the leaves, that is because I found a couple of the dreaded spider mites on a couple plants. Luckily I found them at an real early stage as I only found a total of 8 or 9 amongst 11 plants. I sprayed them down with Pyola. I believe I will be fine here on out.

Looks great. Sorry about the mites, I know how they can be. K+ for catching them early.
