Whats up my friend. Long time no type..........Everything is looking especially nice. Glad to here about the improvments to the rooms. Quick question.....
How should I take some seeds from new poppers to a larger hydro setup. I am using those buckets (5 gallon type) to grow my plants in (always had clones) So now I have these three lil ones (maybe girls) that I popped in rockwool cubes, they poked their heads up a lil while ago (few days or so) and have roots going all the way to the bottom of the cube. What should I do with them now??? Help please my troll friend...................

hehateme19, mate just drop the rockwool cube in the plastic pot you use in the dwc. peel some of the rockwool off if it is large.

Ya Ya thats what I did..........Actually I pulled off most of the rockwool and put the 3 that popped in the EZ cloner....Im gonna let the roots get a lil longer and keep them on a real light nute mix in the clone machine for a lil while and see how they do.
So thanks again for the idea.........I actually did it the day you posted about it (arctic and deft) but havent gotten around to replying ya know.....They are doing good......nice new leafs sprouting and all (small lil leaves) Im gonna make some room in my bloom (chopping down the last of the dirty ones) so that way I can move 2 of the 5 gallon ladies into there and free up some room under one of the veg lights. I think Ill do some sort of smaller dwc with the three and see what happens (three seperate containers so the roots dont get all caught up in case of different sexes)

I hope everything is going well, weather treating ya nice and all that. The mountains are nice and white round here and the skiing has been decent. Hopeing for some real heavy snow though to help out with the base on the slopes......

been a bit busy, had some non-weed related crisises to deal with.
in veg now, i have 4 ak48's, 2 love potion #1, 7 small eva's monster, 1 dutch mans trap, 1 skywalker and 2 strawberry smile
loads of different ones i had some temperature problems in the clone room midwinter. these are the ones that survived.
some pics, veg stage, im about to switch these any day now.

finishing up this thread, afterall the topic says a hydro room is born.
ended on a total of 1600 W. the plants have been vegging for a month or so under 2x600W hps bulbs plus one 400W hpi for the blue specter. i intend to use the blue 400W bulb in flowering aswell. im very happy with the results it produces.
the center lamp is the old magnetic lamp with the 400W hpi bulb, i have ordered a new 400w ballast, a 600w ballast and an adjust-a-wing reflector. the plan is to use the reflector to the right on the picture for the 400w lamp with the new digital BAL ballast. this reflector is currently hooked up with a 600W ballast and a hps bulb, it has a ventilation hole on top of it, i have just put a small vent fan in there temporarily without any hoses attatched to it. the left lamp is also a 600w hps, digital ballast adjust-a-wing. i like the adjust-a-wing... well because i can adjust em hehehehehe
i descided to try out this little 4 spot wilma system, 10 litre buckets resirculating system. the plants are 4 small eva's monster. i might have said that i had temperature problems in the clone room when it was really cold earlier this winter. i almost lost it all, but managed to save some of the clones. they are much smaller then they should have been tho, also the room is not quite as full as id like it to be, but ill just utilize that space when i get the chance.
whats left to say really, new ventilation system pulls a total of 1700 m3/h of air through 2 rooms. the wires and stuff needs to be tidied up abit, it looks messy atm, but its all off the floors. i should be getting new reflectors next week so i really cba with much of an effort on the wires atm, it will have to be redone anyway.
ill be making a new thread now about the new grow. if you want you can sneak-preview the progress in my room v2.0 gallery. just click the link below the pictures. ive also added some more pics from the arctic, sea eagles and mountains and ocean trips n stuff

hey yall, i started a new thread. the arctic house v2.0, look at the bottom of my signature.
also started a social group called the northern connection. that aswell in my signature. its an unformal group, you are all welcome to join even if you are not affiliated with the north in any way. northern hemisphare means you fit right in, or if you know anyone in there thats good enough.

finishing with some of this full-melt ice-o-lator hasj i made. pictures as promiced. i have a home-made contraption for making the hasj. just cut the lower half off a bucket and replaced it with a metal screen. drop that inside of a second bucket which collects the trichomes and voila. cost about 5 dollars as supposed to buying those bags for 100-200dollars.
