Whats up guys here some of what I got done today for the veg tray. Click the pic for close up.

First off clean tray and res. See the res under the tray that'll be used for recirculating top feed . I already changed my mind about the air line under the lid Im gonna put em on top so I dont have much root tangle in em and I ran 12 stones in stead of 6.

Think it'll be enough bubbles

Dam near finished product. I still have to run the feed lines see the line poppin out the foam.

Heres a little shot of the mothers 1 week after I raped 30 clones off of them( the 2 in the back)

When all is said and done there will be feed lines coming in threw the top and panda film covering the foam and lines. I plan to veg em as big as I can get em in there right befor there cramped them bam in to the 12 xl. I cant wait I want it now I guess Im about 3 weeks out on back order. Let me know whatcha think Im sure its gonna kick ass.

Nice work BigGreen.

Great idea on the new soup-to-nuts tops from the UC boys as it keeps us veggers in house.

Vegging 64 in one 16pak under a mere 4x600w, then xfr'ing into four 16XL's sounds like the E ticket.

My three systems are in. Can you believe they fit on one pallet plain brown boxes PERFECT!!! It all made it nicely into the pickup bed, these guys are pros! As you guys can tell from the Veg shots I'm not ready to flower in a UC this weekend, but hope to have the system up and running for a H2O only test by Monday.

Peace, :joint:

Hey, a little help on Xfering from different size net pots. I think once the roots are though the hydroton and into the bottom of the buckets it would be damaging to cut the plants and move them. Please advise, because I'd like top notch in the veg room too.

Around October on the lids.

That tent is pretty sick lookin', never witnessed in person though to see what the construction is like. Footprint wise it'll hold (4) 8XLs in tight fashion. Price?

that tent has got a 4.3k price tag at growco.com, pretty gnar tent though.

pretty easily assembled, buddy just got the one a step down in size from that, took 3 guys an hour to get up and adjusted

that is great about those lids, that is gonna help us soooooooooo much
gonna be seeing a awesome thread here soon my man......having fun shopping every weekend

Now I find out shit different lids sounds like it could even get funkier in here. Well at least it only cost me like $22 for the foam and a few bucks in air lines I had the rest of the stuff. Im thinking this foam top will have an added bonus for keeping my water temps down the res sits on a cold basement floor we'll see. I want my clones rooted now I cant wait another week. Any cool ideas for me on how I should bloom out these mothers there outta control bushes I was thinking of pulling them out of the 2 gal top feed and throwing them in hempy buckets on the edge of the grow.

This is whats coming to the rswc veg oh rama setting up for the 12xl uc.

A personal favorite very very rare G13 x ? We call her frostitute.

i've wondered myself about transplanting from netpot to netpot; their doesn't seem to be an easy way to do it... i've seen small netpots running aeroponics without any medium in them and the bottoms cut out that were sitting in collars to keep them from falling though the pots but i dunno how you'd go from say a 5" to an 8" netpot or even a 4" for that matter... violent root pruning is one option but is there anything more elegant; otherwise the trays with the 8" netpots for veg seem to be a better solution

Ya I dont think it would be a good idea to transplant to bigger net pots it would be mess. I just wanna veg em in what Im gonna bloom em in I like to skip the shock part.

Just wanted to stop in and say I love this thread and you guys have a great thing going here. Love the pics and the UC concept, would love to try it out in the future, looks like a very well thought out design. Thanks for sharing. :respect:

P.S. Amstel Light - LOL very funny post. ^

welcome back MASH

do you think the system would have problems with roots clogging the drain any?

I see that you can easily increase the space between your plants with some pvc tinkering but I was wondering if you would need to increase the pump size if doing this? I was think of getting the 4XL increasing the space between the pots to about 36 inches and running some 1000w lamps vertically.

Thanks

To easily transfer from a smaller net pot to a larger, you need to just cut away as much of the smaller net pot at possible and insert it into the larger one. The leftover plastic is not an issue. Just twirl the roots in between the small net pot and the large net pot and they will EXPLODE out of the larger net pot in a day.

If you really want to re use net pot, just insert the smaller pot into the bigger one and fill in the space with hydroton or whatever medium you like.

Also try making an adapter for your smaller pots. Cut doughnut looking cycles in some plastic. <<< Might be the best But I have never done it.

* having the roots not hang down any more is not an issue in a healthy plant. They will drop more roots very fast. If your a real scardy cat, raise your water for a day, or 2 at the most.

PS** This was my Four hundredth and twenty first post.

Soon enough Blind date. This thread is for info on this uc. How to veg for it and so on. People been poppin links to there grows with the uc in here. Yo global I guess if you really wanted to transfer the net pots you could but Im going for some roots brotha there not gonna be able to even fit into another net pot. You'll see what I mean when my clones root once I have em in my rswc Im sure I'll have a mass of roots in a matter of 2 weeks.

Man I'm glad I operate on impulse... Didn't need a magic story of what goes on beneath the bucket lids to reap the harvest fruit. :D

To whomever ordered in the vicinity of (75) UC16XLs, thanks for ruining the cali med scene for the rest of 'em. LMAO! :D:yes:
