Green Crack - what's the best method for curing?

my Green Crack clone is growing solid and healthy. she's been budding for about 10 days and she's my first so i'm only learning about harvesting and curing. i'm reading a lot of posts that people say they cured their buds in brown paper bags and opened them only so often to release moisture. has anyone successfully tried this? if so, what is the process to do so? can i move from snipping the buds in to the paper bag or do they have to cure in a dark room first? how long do the buds need in the paper bag?

thanks for your help, she looking beautiful and smells delishis, hope to harvest her well and enjoy the smoke!

brown paper bag method works, or a box with holes in it.. make or use a window screen and place the nuggies on that heat rises nugsz dry. peace..

What do u mean by 'take cuts'? If u refer to smoking her goodness, no need to worry about that, I look forward to that moment!

Another q - how long do the buds need to cure for in the box? Is it based on the dryness of the buds more than an amount of time?

no he meant take cuts as in clone her, do a little research up on here and there are plenty of great and informative tutorials on cloning, after about 5 days in the paper bag, i would change to mason jars and "burP" them, as in open the lid for an hour 3-5 times a day, then cure till desired taste

I've read in many tutorials that you can't clone when in the budding phase-anyone familiar with this?

will it be an issue if i hang my buds to dry in a room that is not dark? will that affect the curing process?

drying is not curing and curing is not drying! first you dry..till they are just about crisp..then you cure to suck out the rest of the moisture from the middle of the nuggs and increase thc and taste.

I have heard peole hanging branches in the closet to dry, bud side down so that the THC runs into the bud, and a friend of mine uses a small wicker baskek also, mainly I usally make a drying rack,

You can clone up till harvest if you need/had to, however the more flower it has the more chance of rot while cloning if you use a hood, the pistols hold moisture on the stem so you need to gently pull as many out as you can. It will normally have more branches than a clone taken in veg but they will be skinny and you'll need to take some away.
