I got pulled over leaving my house they cuffed me and said we are serving a narcotic search warrant on ur house right now, I said I want a lawyer and just kept repeating that to every question anyway they raid me and charge me with sales and cultivation the evidence list reads like this:
49 immature plants sw bedroom
16 mature plants sw bedroom
25 mature plants backyard
1 digital scale with residue
Misc us currency living room
1 12 gauge shotgun fully loaded
1 box shotgun shells
1 indicia in my name
4 high power lights
2 co2 canisters
2 jars dried marijuana
2 bags with dry marijuana

Now that sounds bad right? Well 1st off let me tell you what I really had I had 21 plants in the backyard 5 drying in the sw bedroom
and as far plants go that's it! I have no idea how they came up with 90 plants but that's dirty leo for ya. The money was not mine and not made from drug profits, the shotgun was in my moms name and it was loaded and leaning on the wall becuz she heard people trying to get in and grabbed it they Ideed themselves as cops and she leaned it on the wall, I also am part of a mmj growers coop and have had a medical liscence for weed for three years although at the time of the raid my rec was expired for 1.5 months.

My bail was 50 grand I posted bail cost me 5 grand so my court date was set for today the DA has had almost 3 weeks to file I got to court today and my name wasn't on the roster so I went to the clerks and she said the DA hasn't filed yet and that they'll hold my bond for 15 days if they don't file by then Its a DA reject!

I didnt get a lawyer nothing I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that they don't file any in the next 15 days.
oh and this happened in socal and I also no record I'm sure that helped some.
but it just goes to show the importance of mmj liscences.

Yeah man I made the worst mistake of my life awhile back and this reminds me of your situation. I got busted with a quarter pound of bud like 2 years ago and all of a sudden I looked up my case online the day before my court date and it said "CASE DISMISSED" so I kept going up to the courthouse and asking for my bond money back over and over again then eventually they sent me a letter saying that my case was dismissed in error and that it had been reopened and they even told me "thanks for being honest and telling us it had been dismissed without going to a court date" needless to say I had to spend 14 thousand dollars on a really top notch lawyer to get it dropped but I got a DWI days before my dismissal hearing so now I'm on probation for 18 months for that. Which sucks but I'm sure having a DWI on your record is better than possesion of 2-4 ounces (class A misdemeanor).

Oh and LEO always lies about how much you get caught with or how much it's worth.. They told me that my weed was worth 2,825 dollars for a quarter pound!!!! I paid 1000 dollars for it! They said it was worth 25 dollars a gram all the way and I just rolled my eyes.

I can't really help you with the whole MMJ thing because I live in Texas and we are behind the times here. But all I can tell you is that if you don't see your name anywhere, don't get any letters in the mail.. KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!!!

yea a couple people told me if just check on the computer every couple weeks to see if they do pick it up and set a date just incase they do and don't send a letter and then I don't go and then I get a bench warrant but other then that don't say shit but my wants her money and gun back you know?
I'm gonna wait atleast 90 days to request the return of my property I want my lights back and my bud if possible I mean how am I supposed to see to my health now?

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, I'll be sending positive vibes your way! Sounds like a friend of mine who got busted and they just kept breaking his plants and counting them as multiple ones until they were at 99 and the cops were like oh you might have a hundred plants here should we call the DEA? F'cking a$$holes! They also straight up stole $20,000 out of his safe that was taxed and documented money out of his business. Luckily he didnt end up in too much trouble and is now a medi patient. Cannasuer - you mentioned having an mmj license, which had been expired for 1.5 months. Was that why they raided?? If so, they must be watching those licenses like vultures, just waiting for someone to slip up! So LEO had been watching licenses, then began taking action right after your license expired - right?

yes you can buy the same tazer that shoots out the 2 probes that the police use at any gun store that has them in stock. only draw back is every time you shoot the tazer it costs you 25 bucks for a new cartridge.

they do work nice on 90% of the people that get hit with them, but there are the rare exceptions that people just yank the probes out of them selves, usually someone with very little muscle mass , less muscle the less effective the x-22 tazer is.

when it first hits you it sends out a special type of 50,000 volts that takes over your CNS system and incapacitates you and then the voltage drops after 10-15 seconds to 5,000 volts. then you could just keep on the trigger to keep the juice flowing.

I thought there was an informant but they dropped the sales charge, atleast on the computer it only shows cultivation and when it first happened it showed sales as well so if they dropped the sales charge then they don't have a snitch, I think it was the helicopter seeing my backyard or 1 of my neighbors that called. Either way fuck all tattle tales we learn not to tell on people when were kids man I mean I was affecting noone! So someone just did it out of spite or jealousy I don't know il drive myself crazy if I think on it too much I know in the end we all have to awnser for what we've done good and bad so they'll get theyres.
