can laboratories tell if your piss has been frozen?

have to do 12 weeks of drug testing for court... right now my piss is clean and i want to put some in the freezer so i can smoke, but i just found out the agency sends the samples out to a lab for testing... will this be ok, or will it increase the likelihood of getting busted? considerer that i have to unfreeze the sample, reheat it, hold onto it for several hours, etc... will the sample be corrupted, and will they be able to tell?

I imagine there are certain proteins that break down over time that need to be present, not sure really....always used chemical piss myself.

Dude just get someone to piss for you, I got caught from work on a piss test for weed and now I just get a clean buddy to piss in a little shampooo bottle and put tight underwear on and put the bottle in between your sack and your leg about 30 min before the test and its fine temperature when they check it. they are usually standing right outside the door when you do it so rehearse a little at home so your not loud at opening the bottle or noisy figiting..

I'm reliably informed that for urine to seem fresh after being frozen you must thaw and filter a couple of times through coffee paper or you'll find a sediment has formed very quickly after thawing, and so will the tester!.Add this to High Till Death's advice to present warm wee and you should be fine, hope so.

Short answer: No

Long answer: Possibly, but only if they're testing for things like leukocyte damage. Freezing and thawing isn't likely to change the chemical constituents, only to damage the trace amounts of cells always present. Unless your urine test is being conducted by the U.A.E. or some other place with insane laws I doubt that they'll look for anything like that.

That all goes out the door if you're talking long term storage. Freezing doesn't stop the breakdown of the various components, it just slows it. Also, you'd better make sure you keep it in a nice non-reactive container and thaw it all out at once.

Reminds me I used to use sheep piss as a reagent when I taught. It was a nasty way of teaching first years not to try tasting anything in the lab.

They only found out it was sheep piss on day 3.

Lot of people out sick for some reason on day 4. . .

that'd be my guess. someone produces a standard "reference" urine basically and the synthetic they sell is either that exact substance or a close copy. I really don't know what's currently assayed in a piss test guys, I've been out of the loop for a few years now.

As I was told urine in a test is tested for specific gravity, ph, protein content and at the time of the test for temp. they dont get down to the molecular level and examine the proteins and cellular material for denaturing and degredation. I personally always relied on the old whizzinator with the synthetic pee myself, too bad they are no longer available.
