Fisher,

I didn't read the whole thread but that "gopher" snake was actually a King Snake. Your in luck, that snake is about the best at all kinds of vermin reduction...gophers, rats, even rattlers! A very successful species, not a lay in wait kind of hunter, rather a fast, active predator. Good chance of getting bit if you pick him up, and he'll poop on you for sure.

Starting to smell like a MJ farm...hit me hard as soon as I opened the gate

I went through about 3000 gallons of water this weekend. Deepwatered everything, and they're loving it. Bring on the budz :)

makes me feel so small, using one 400 watt HPS!

Thank ya thank ya...:)

N, gush is an OGxgoo, lotta my friends are gaga over it. That and the purple gush...kept the goos awesome trichrome production and added a lil kushy taste to it.

Custom smartpots sound cool...what do your friends have to say about these fence planters like I'm using? I'd consider ordering some custom SP's if I thought they were superior somehow. I actually had a couple 8' diameter planters ready to go for two of my biggest, but ended up saying screw it. I love how every year I learn some new tricks, making each year better than the last...

Neongreen-thanks for your confidence in me...we should have 3 or 4 weeks until things start to flip. A little more time to boost still! And I remember that photo from TH, good shit...will take the test for sure :)

Rip- yo man, well that makes three different ideas on what kinda snake that was. Do we have king snakes in norcal? Thought about trying to be Jack Hannah and picking it up by the head, but quickly came to my senses...haha

sleepy- more than one way to skin a cat eh? Glad to share, thanks for sayin hey

RW- thanks brother, glad I could make you smile! They sure have some big needs, doing my best to keep up with them...(I'm smiling, too ;))

WOOOO HOOOOOO Fisher

I love yer style homie

you are neat as hell

Those are impressive "containers"

so much better then my neighbors from my thread.

You will do very well,

keep an eye on my thread, once the flowers start to stack, I hack massivly

literally

But it pushes HUGE flowers out the end with NO FLUFF to trim.
4 years straight we out harvest all our cohorts, even with less plants

that s all I can offer

you're on top of it man
Wish I could visit :D

One day when greed and envy and ego and financial gain arent of concern we can all visit each others massive gardens on like a road trip tour....

Yeah right......
Im pretty stoned

one love homie, Blow that shit up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right on vodvar, I'm glad to share...:)

Thanks Kell, I'M tryin!!

MB- dude I try to have little to no expectations, but I hope you're right. Those coral reef just get massive, and the casey jones...hoping for some dense flowers :)

Zappa- really appreciate the comments, and like I said, I'm posting this in hopes to inspire...DO IT!! Playing it all by ear though- I'd love to set up a solar rig, build a little abode...I have a book on earthbag houses and it seems quite legit. All comes down to me bringing these in though...

BB- Cheers, brotherman!! Thanks for stopping by :) haha yeah recently I've found myself standing out there, fiskars in hand, staring at the mass of undergrowth, saying to myself (quoting nomaad here) what the fuck. Yeah I need to get BUSY, before shit really gets outta control...I will for sure be keeping an eye on your thread, following yer lead on the hacking. The less fluff to trim the better...arrgg...trimming...anyone got a twister they wanna rent out??? Haha should just break down and buy one...

Getting super hot these next few days, thinking I timed the brix mix and deepwatering well. Sending shit into super boostie mode...I love it :)

Fisher, don't the plants kinda shut down their growth when its over 90degrees? what actual date do you expect flowering to start?

I am a little worried that the sheriff will visit again and all my ladies will be in flower. Today completes 4 weeks in the black box.

lol, no. that's when the plant starts growing 4+ inches a day. below 90*f your plants wont grow very fast.

if you start having problems with your plants growing when it gets that hot than that means you're not watering enough. keep in mind as your plants grow bigger and as it gets hotter your plants will need more water more often.

the point in wich plants will start having problems with heat stress. is at about 120*f+.

Jenn, yes it was a little exciting seeing that four footer roll out from under the duratarp...apparantly the neighbors have seen a black bear running around, but I'm not really worried. The dogs seem to be keeping most of the critters at bay. Though with my chickens, I guess I'm kinda throwing out bait...

Tcomb, thanks brother!! Yes just a bit longer till the show gets good :)

N- growth shutting down when it's over 90? Find that hard to believe as it's over 90 here most all summer. Steady temps over 100 might be another story, but I'v not noticed growth slow down or cease yet. I expect to see flowering begin Aug 10-20. Indicas first. You're gonna be cutting it CLOSE. Might have to chop a lil early, think some of those in your dep will want to go 9-10 weeks. Maybe you could argue to the sheriff the full season girls are nowhere near 'mature'. Don't know that I'd have much trust in their compassion though. Maybe see about getting a few more scripts?

Heh... Fisher... we think alike. Been working on getting more scripts today.

The sheriff said that he'd "see us in September" to see if we were compliant assuming that half our plants were to hedge our bets against males. There were no tarps around yet, so he had no reason to suspect a black box...if he even knew what one is.

The problem with his "September" visit is this. The first time he came we had about 12 plants too many. n There were 27 in the light dep and a couple of backups in case I didn't like where things were headed. I wasn't there personally, but the old helper- Bad Vibes Charlie- was and the sheriff told him that he'd be back the following saturday to make sure we were in compliance. He showed up a day EARLY, though. Friday instead of Saturday... we were not fully in compliance (had about 5 plants over the limit) and he didn't seem to care.

If the guy had not shown up early that time, I wouldn't be worried that he'll show up early this time...August instead of September... and tell us we have too many plants in flower.

Week 9 starts on August 13. I have heard that there are two sour d's going around... one is a 10 week finisher and the other 8... hope I have the 8. The Clueberry, Blue Mystery and GDP's look like they will be done in 8... the SD/HB's are looking a little slower and so is the "true" HB. The skunk is very wispy... looks like an 11 week strain. Which gives me the idea that next year's black box, in addition to starting a month earlier that I was able to this year (already working on the calendar for next year- does that make me crazy?) I am going to run a bunch of pure sativas for the head smoke.

hello Fisher15,
I noticed you are doing a few Coral Reef outdoor. I actually did a few indoor back in 04, i acquired a cut from the 3rd floor in Oakland. I was curious as to what it's background is? I remember it having a lot of sativa in it. It was my most vigorous plant that round. The cola was the biggest I've grown indoor...even bigger than my NYCD.....so if you have any info about the coral reef, much appreciated oh and is this cutt still floating around the Bay?
thanks....

MB- how much are you watering now? I know our conditions are a little different, as mine are above ground in planters, but I'm curious.

N- good move on getting more scripts up. Seems like the best option, as I really hate pulling shit early. The real ecsd clone should go 75-80 days, I'd be skeptical of of a sourD that is done in 56. Also feel I may get a county sponsered garden tour...but then again maybe the sheriffs will be too busy looking for stuipd big mexi plots. Are you in town or something? Why do you think they came by the first time? Black box does seem good for some long flowering sativas, I've got that pack of original haze x sk1 that might be fun to play with...thinking about next year as well>>>it's never too early, got some big ideas brewing...;)

Hey endur, thanks for stoping by...and I'm stoked to hear someone else's experience with this chic. Got 13 of em out there, most all are f'in huge. Biggest plants in the garden...what'd you think of the smoke? From the info I've gathered, coral reef is federation's hawaiian sativa x sag's bubbleberry. She is definitely in the bay, don't know how fast it's circulating tho...get to posting and hit me up with a PM.

Jack- haha you bet there's seats available...left a lot of room as I knew there'd be a gallery :) Internet on the celly...5 bars in the boonies...whaaa!?

White Devil- yo man, glad you dig my grow! As far as a nute schedule, I'll probably stick with my veg teas through most of august, then about a week or so after I see the switch, start backing off the nitrogen and using bloom nutes. Going to foliar with P seabird guano until the buds really start to stack. My indica plants are a little more finikey than the hybrids tho, makes feeding a bit more complicated than it should be, but I'm hoping the variety will be worth the headache.
