Pictures are great Pipeline, loving the updates!

The outdoor hang, did you use a tarp? just when rain is forecasted?
Keep up the great work :smoke:

Thanks guys! I didn't use the tarp the first round of drying, but that was because the weather was for sure going to be clear... After that I decided to always use them because the morning dew that comes each day is very heavy and wets everything not covered up... Its almost like it rains with the amount of dew you see early in the morn... Even with the tarp it still takes a full 2 weeks to dry and even then they aren't always ready... I dry down in a valley though with a small 4 ft wide stream nearby so thats part of the reason they take so long... Need to get guano and more tarps soon... :D

Island patch is in a hayfield and only faces to the west... Kind of wish it was east facing, but that was the better spot.. It takes longer to dry out there each morning since there is no direct light until about noon... Foliage staying wet and the hot weather contributed to the disease... They aren't really getting slowed down by it though... :)

nice pipe. looking good this year!

i had 2 nhu x dc girlies last week. they are gone now. haha. smoked them up pretty fast. only got about 1/8 for the two little pop sickle plants. thats what i get for going 12/12 from seed tho. damnit! out of smoke now.

comparing the highs of the NHU and the NHU x DC, the NHU x DC was definitely more sedating. the NHU was extremely uplifting and great smoke. i really, really wish i had kept her instead of chopping it for good. but the damn thing flowered under 20 hours light. had to do something with it.

come to think of it, i have a half smoked bowl of NHU x DC with some kief on top. time to hit that up.

and good to see you mossy. been a while. stay safe brother.

too bad august cant come any sooner. or october.

cheers mate!

Thanks you guys, glad to have ya stop by! The japanese beetles are the epitome of an invasive pest here.. They eat everything... My corn is being munched as the days go by... However, I do have many assasin bugs, so they'll get some pressure put on them, maybe they'll move... :)

I even saw a japanese beetle on my herb this evening...

Thanks for the insights soxx! Sorry your harvest was so short lived.... Roots = flowers... Remember this... They need vegetative time to establish a good root system as well as branching structure, unless that is you're dealing with one of mossy's exploding autos... It just does it all at once... :)

Enjoy that last pipe my friend... Picking my own leaves these days... :)

Little update on the island plot... the back left bubba kush x bubblegum is really hurting from the disease... Its either the most susceptible, or the shading from the other plants has lead to more moisture and prolonged disease promoting conditions on that plant... Or a combination of both... The dew is getting very heavy this time of year...

The rot is producing black spore bodies in a dusty covering... I have pruned and removed all infected tissues... I should have removed it when I saw it initially... At that time it was basically just one leaf and it still had several alive and active leaflefts... Now its getting ugly, losing growing points and entire branches... I left the top of the plant but pruned all the bad branches, so the tallest branch starts like 3 nodes down... :) I left the fans in tact so that it would have plenty of sun to hopefully overcome this... If it does not recover within a couple weeks, it will be removed to make room for the others and to prevent the disease spreading... One other plant has light symptoms, but is definately growing out of it...

Thanks guys! Glad you're all enjoying the thread this year...

Ya got a digital microscope camera! Lucky dog you! Not sure about the cross... I'll take a look at your thread in a minute...

I made a little bit of a mistake this evening going out to pull males at the track plots... I began finding males to pull without thinking what I was actually pulling. It was the first plant I looked at, shading the rest of the plot, I pulled up a stamenant Deep Chunk... It was shading out the some nice females in the plot, so it kind of needed to be done... I still have 2 other DC's to choose from, but one is female I think... Kinda disappointed but I have sure learned my lesson today and there will be pollen available for pollination so its not the end of the world... I just like to use as many males as possible....

My bro had smoked some of that cloudy headed mexi shwag with me ealier and I think thats what screwed my focus up... I am sure of it actually... I still have the PTK and other lines as well to choose from for pollinators, its still up in the air, I don't necessarily have to use DC... I am the master... :)

Sorry no shots, my bro and I were in a hurry to get back.. Let me tell you they are growing though, and track 2 is mostly female... The tallest at about nose level are female, and there is a nice one in front as well... Only 4 males have shown...

So I pulled a potential DC pollinator and learned a hard lesson, but I am growing mainly for flowers to get me to next season.... I didn't want males shading out the lovely females at the plot so thats where my mind was at the moment... I need to spend more thought on breeding maybe... No more shwag for me... :)

Typical m8..done it myself.

Look at it this way..
maybe Fate decided you have a better male there..and decided to intervene.
That is what I blame anyway.....

I am the master... :)
ha ha ha..

I am going through the thread as fast as I can...you have some cracking genetics.
What do you prefer for bud..
and what do you like growing best..?
It will help me pick them out as I trawl your thread.

Thats the way I prefer to think about it... Fate can be kind of intense sometimes... :)

I don't really have favorites to tell ya the truth... I really like this ((Erocket x Danish passion) x DC) x (b3/n7 x erdpurt) at turtle plot, its definately a hybrid from hell at arm hight already..... That is the height of my arm extended full length above my head... About where we were at the end of the season last year.... But they're plenty more time for growing as you know... :)

Its a female too, I have high hopes for her... Branching like there's no tomorrow... I'll post some shots soon when I have the time... Went to check a few plots yesterday evening... Ya don't want to miss this one...

Yawwwwwnnnnn... this daylight savings time is running me down... It puts us with a damn near 10 o clock dusk... Seem like there's never enough time to get the extra loose ends done at the end of the day... Kinda frustrating to tell ya the truth...

Hey good news is we still have a DC male at track2 and the plan is to use him to pollinate the gardens early on in development like last year so that the flowers do not develop completely full of seed... I like the looks of him, and since DC is such a uniform inbred line, I think we'll get good results.. I bet this one will be more potent than the one I pulled on accident... :) My brother told me to just put it back in the ground after I realized what I had done... Kind of wish I had at least tried it now!!!! Argh... If the heat didn't get to it, I think it would have made it, we got a good inch and a half not too long after it happened... Chalked up to experience... Better too do it on an IBL line hybrid that a standard cultivar... :)

Gonna pop up a view or 2, but eyem off to take a shower and go to bed... I'll fill in the gaps here soon... Enjoy! :)

How about some from Tall Plot, the HTC testing grounds... :)
