I think #3 is a little behind the others - opinions?
thought it was more indica compared to the others ?
Done with Grow Big - 2tsp Tiger Bloom & 3tsp Big Bloom
theyre gaining some good weight - and more hairs are changing.
Do bottom nugs finish earlier? if so do you know why?
throw the comments at me all - good or bad :smile:

Very nice growMEDS! They look very healthy and top heavy!
I honestly swoon every time I look in here! That first one especially...mmm. I think the higher buds usually ripen first, some people chop the top ones first and let the bottom ones thicken up. I'd imagine it's because they get less light down low.

That's good advise....top buds will finish first.
They're looking awesome though!! I see the nitrogen leaving the leaves you'll need to flush soon I would flush at least 10 days prior to the chop.
What's the amber/cloudy/clear ratio?

Makes sense the top ones because of the light - what about the hairs changing color quicker on the bottom than top?
I will try to plan for around 10 days flush.
I'm not positive on trich colors yet - I have a 30x loupe but can't really see with it. I ordered a bionicam toy camera thing.
Anti has it and it looks like it works awesome. 100x and 200x

my zoom is decent - I'm waiting on this cool bionic eye camera toy thing to zoom good on the trics
looks like the trichs are getting cloudy and I see a few ambers here and there
what's the burnt tips from? lights/heat or nutes?
I watered with half dose of Tiger/Big Bloom - Last dose for 1 & 2? or one more half dose? then water/molasses for 10 or so days till they finish?
think I will keep #3 going as is for an extra 10 days then flush.

I'm still researching a grow tent for my next grow and was wondering how the temperatures range in and out of the TENT? You are using a 250 watt HPS. How do you think a 400 watt HPS would do with your configure? Would a larger fan be needed?
Noticed that your exhaust air flow is Interior Air=>Carbon filter=>Ducting=>HPS Light=>Ducting=>FAN=>Exterior of Tent.
Is that correct?
Is There a vent available to provide outside air to cool the HPS light and another vent to exhaust so that it is a straight in and out run?

If I were able to redo mine - I would go with 6" venting, reflector, and fan then run 400hps.
right now my temps only go 3 above ambient with my current setup
That air flow is right on - the tent does smell so I dont think the tent is being fully scrubbed - leaks in the reflector I think - gotta fix it eventually
I like the single flow - there isnt really an option for dual venting unless you cut more holes (which Ive seen done before)

About the hairs on the bottom...of the plant, that's pretty much the reason why trichs are used instead. Hairs can be damaged (and then turn red) by touching or rough handling, rain, lots of things, so it's not really that accurate of a method to judge harvest. Actually one thing that turns them red real quick is when the hairs have been fertilized. I guess that's a possibility with the circumstances?

i am running a 400w with a NOT air cooled hood in the same size tent check out my grow. I do have solid 65 F intake though
