How do I combat this? At first I thought I could leave it alone, but now I have a feeling it's causing my TDS to slowly rise, not to mention leaving behind ugly white deposits everywhere. :1help:

Simple, really.
Use less nutrients in the reservoir.
TDS shouldn't go up.
It should stay about the same as water level goes down.
Unless you have an evaporation problem...

I always wash my tables off when changing from veg to flower.. I have a hose that attaches to bathroom shower head and you can fit 4x4 trays in my tub which makes it easy to wash down real fast..

This is Chem 4 at 8 weeks. Healthy and lush...

You can also just flood the table with plain water every other resovior change. Just let it stay filled for 20 minutes and drain system and resovior.

What are you growing in? I use to do rockwool and would scrape the build up off. Followed by a top feed of pH adjusted water.

or depending on how many plants you have and how fast the change in TDS is. It could be the plants drinking more water than nutes, thus increasing ppm.
got nute burn by any chance?

I've found that I only get the buildup on the tops of the sides. the tops dry out the fastest. It would seem to be simple gravity drainage with the salts/minerals building up over time, a top watering every once in a while (with straight RO pH'd water) as mentioned can help with this, or running a drip system, or flooding deep enough to ensure fresh nute solution goes throughout the block consistently.
