The maple leaf indica from sensi, at day 35.

I was trying to get macro mode to work on my camera for some close up shots, but the autofocus kept focusing on the wrong thing, leaving the rest of the shot blurry.

Sorry this is the only decently clear one.

I haven't fed them at all, I wanted to test it out and see how tough it was, this was planted straight into regular miracle grow potting soil, and just watered, no extra food other than what was in the dirt.

MLI is tough man, and just keeps getting frostier... The smelllll, oh the smellll, I wanna eat 'em, or roll in em, or both.

What is it smelling like? :p

Great looking plants thanks for sharing :joint:

Thanks man!

They smell thickly like fruity sugar candy mixed with spicy high grade pot when you rub the trichs and get the pitch on your hands. It kinda changes as the smell sits on you, goes from crazy sweet to spicy pepper celery salt kinda smell. This is either one of sensi's main building block strains, or bred straight off it, because most of their top stuff gets their smell from this stuff. Jack herer, mothers finest, c99, get their sweet fruity smell from this. It's thick...

The cool thing about them is it's the kinda weed where you can pluck a frosty leaf or bud right off the dang plant and smoke it and it still tastes good. No grassy chlorophyl wet hay smells, period... Drying just makes it burn easier. When you rub the leaves even when the plants are young, they smell kind of like orange peel and cherry, no chlorophyl. Usually when you rub the leaves and get a good smell, good taste is gonna be there too.

Those look great for not having added any nutes.

Yeah, I think so too. The leaves are starting to get spotty and turn gold here and there scavenging for all the phosphor and potassium they can dig up, but they are really holding up well overall, very impressive. All I've done is water them, and stick 'em under a 400w hps and a 400w metal halide.

They stretch quite a bit in flower though, these are about 5 feet high, and I think I flowered them at like 18-24 inches, they really explode... Small grow rooms, be wary, heh.

I know someone who grows a lot of MLI and has for years. It was recommended to me to pick MLI at 45-50 days for a warm and happy high that evolves into a deep relaxation; or allow it to go 60-70 days, for a high that is heavy narcotic sensation that turns to a red eyed drunkenness with repeated hits.

I pick mine at 63 days and it is just dripping with resin and syrupy sweet, with that extra little spice in there too. Delicious. Definitely one of Sensi's better strains.

They lost a lot of their smell during the dry/cure period. They have a mild kinda candy lime smell to them now, and a taste that is similar - but with a chemical overtone, I hate to say it, but the taste reminds me of the smell of fresh urinal cakes! Ya know, those little hockey puck deoderant things they put in public urinals. LOL It sounds awful, I know, but it isn't a bad thing, it smells and tastes very clean, if that makes sense, heh.

One was really leafy, and low yield. The other two were fluffier with the buds, much bigger, and much nicer overall, each at probably twice the yield of the smaller one.

The high is really good, and I think that is what people like most about MLI. Great high, easy to pace with, balanced, has a little bit of everything, but not too much. Great for kicking back an hour before bed and watching something funny on TV, until it relaxes you enough that you can just drift off.. Zero hangover in the morning, btw, which is probably the number one thing I look for. I do not like pot that leaves you with a hangover.

I was very rough with it, no nutes, always barging in the room and foraging around during dark periods, and only a few bananas that popped up on the small leafy pheno. The two bigger females had no issues at all, and were superior in every other way as well. I still don't think I got a good enough female, having run it before in 2003 or so, I've had better representations in the past, but it's been a long time.

Going for Serious' White Russian next. I've never run it before, it should be fun...

some cameras allow you to switch between single and multi-point auto focus. Sounds like yers is setup on single point.
