floranova dosage for Drain-to-waste?

hey guys, been reading around alot, i really dont like my canna coco A+B nutrients, been really interested in the Flora nova bloom.

i was reading that 8ml/gallon follows the lucas formula, but then why do i see guys running 2.5ml a gallon or 3 ml a gallon?

running 20-40% drain-to-waste, with watering once a day (which includes nutrients), how much are you guys running of Floranova bloom? thanks!

oooo bomb.com nice choice on the switch up.......ive been using FN bloom for a little while and i like it. its simple being a one part, i do like to get supplements to enhance it tho PKs, but you know the deal. i use 2 gal coco pots and water once every 2 or day....dripper set up real soon! thank god!

but really dose depends on the strain and size of the plant. start off small, you can probably get away with 500 ppm(1 tsp) on any size clone or small plant. then once they get bigger you can definately get away with 950ppm or 2 tsp. wouldnt go any higher than 3 tsp per gal!

well i dont have a ppm meter. but on the FN bottle and the kool bloom bottle they give dosages and coresponding ppms. i just go off of that. i looked at the bottle it gives ppm and EC.....ec of 950 ppm is 1.9.....500 is 1

also isnt 4-8-7 kinda high nitrogen for blooming?

yea same bottle.....yea i do feel the same about the nitrogen....thats why i use that like 1-2 tsp in early flower for stretch, take advantage of that high N level....then mid flower usually cut back the FN dosage and compensate PPM with PK boosters instead to increase the overall PK to N ratio. to give better buds ya no! but hey bomb check out my thread

run run-to-waste-type method, but never drain/dump waste. as described in re-post from these threads:

use cap full of flora nova bloom, floralicious bloom, and kool bloom, per gallon of water. ph settles @ around 6.0-6.2. can be adjusted +/- from there, if desired.

in this garden, the run-off never gets dumped. it is either wicked up by plants, evaporates, or sits in bottom bucket until the above occurs.

since using run-to-waste, can just use bottle instructions, or simple cap full method.
