I determined I have more than enough room to raise the WR's on buckets. I'm pretty sure this will have quite a positive impact especially below the canopy.

Since I'm in to the 3rd week, I have switched the nute schedule per their instructions.

It called for:

2tsp Grow Big
2tsp Tiger Bloom
1tbl Big Bloom
1/4-1/2tsp Beastie Bloomz

But I cut all of them in half since I've added to different nutes in there plus I've only watered with fresh water once after experiencing a little nute burn so I wanted to go lite at first.

Nice Tight nodes on these girls. Not the Kali's obviously lol

I really have to monitor their water intake now. I went to flush them since today is the beginning of the 4th week and the lower branches and leaves were really droopy even though I watered them quite a bit 3 days prior.

Here are some pics of some of the plants as I took them out to flush. I flush with water PH'd to 6.6 and the runoff was exactly 6.6 also which had me giddy as hell.

Went through my plants today as I was going to try to hang the Can50 but that bitch is too clumsy by myself. I swear it weighs more than 50lbs because I routinely lift 50lbs dumbells when doing military press on shoulder day so maybe it's the bulkiness of it.

Anyways, along with some previous nute burn, I'm seeing some of my fan leaves indicating some sort of deficiency I think.

Thoughts?

Day 31

Buds are thickening up nicely but one white russian experienced another jump in growth so it'll be a while before that one thickens up like the rest.

I watered them yesterday with full strength nutes even though they were still pretty water logged and I think it's the reason why some of the leaves on the Kali's colas are sagging....at least it looks like overwatering to me yet none of the fan leaves are drooping so maybe it's something else?

As you can see, the trichomes are starting to really pack in there which may be from the UVB lamp.

An update for anyone just reading the newest post;

1gallon of water ph'ed to 6.5-6.6 with;

2tsp Grow Big
2tsp Tiger Bloom
1tbl Big Bloom
1/2tsp Beastie Bloomz

UVB is on for the first 6 hours of the cycle.
Rotation of plants at least twice a day

NEVER EVER WATER WHEN THE SOIL IS WET.
Especially with nutes man that's gonna just sit there...Over watering will cause you to get multiple lockouts for no reason and you will end up chasing your tail the entire grow trying to figure out the chaotic myriad of atrocities inflicting your plants. In 3 gal containers with plants of that size you should only have to water every 3-4 days. Your roots have to breath for day do the lift test. I use 2 1/2-3 cups every watering last me 3-4 days easy.

Your girls look like they need some cal mag (tsp per gallon whole flowering time in FFOF). I see you are using all fox farm but no cal mag which you must use with fox farm nutes and especially when using the soil.

Looks like a mag deficiency on that leaf and in my opinion you are giving them WAY too much beastie bloomz that shit is STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are using tiger bloom with it don't go over 1/4 tsp and use sparingly...

Reason: You don't want to give those girls that much Phos because the buds will turn spindly and ratty not to mention trimming will be a nightmare. Less yield when you are trying to get more is a bummer.

If an expert is lurking correct me if I am wrong, but I believe I am dead on with this and if it were my plants I'd make these changes. You should ask in infirmary just to double check, but I started out with exactly what your using and have since corrected my problems.

You are doing a fantastic job for your first time. I used all the nutes and soil mix you used when I first started so I will hang around and try to help you GL and I got some WR's at day 44 now should be fun seeing what we get.

ah thanks for the comments man. This is definitely a learning process.

3 cups of water? I've always read that people are using around 1/2 gallon of water when in 5 gallon buckets?

I generally just water until I see a little come out the bottom

EDIT: Very sorry I did this before and caught my self...I dont know why but I always call the single cup of what I water with as one 1 cup and its very obvious its 4 cups sorry was in a hurry I changed the measurements.

8 1/2-12 cups in 3 gal bags 5 gal bags would be more of course if that's what you are in.

Depends on size too I don't add that much until 2 ~ weeks into flowering.

Also remember every time you water until a little run off you wash away nutrients. Try to get it as precise as possible right before run off. Takes time but you definitely hit the ground running for your first time you are leaps and bounds ahead of others by the look of your plants.

Day 49

This will probably be the last pics of the White Russians as at last inspection of the trichomes about 5 days ago revealed mostly cloudy with some clear so another 7 days or so should do it.

With that being the case, I have a bunch of pics which shows how different each of the 4 WR's are.

So after these 4 are chopped, I'll have the 3 Kali's left that are just over half done so I'm expecting a higher yield than I expected.

The last couple pics show the classic difference between a sativa and indica dominant strain. One thing that I will definitely change in my next grow is that I will let the WR's go at least 6 weeks instead of only 4 weeks as I have plenty of vertical room for it considering how short and stout they are.

So enjoy the show

Wow great work with those plants. I run a DR80 with a 400w light and love it. Your larger tent and light are cranking out some seriously large plants. Happy harvest to you.

Well I thought they were almost finished but alas this is still a learning experience especially determining how long it takes for the trich's to turn.

So I'm at day 54 and there are still too many clear trich's. I have rarely seen an amber trich but I'm going for the heady high so I'm not as concerned about them. I am definitely getting itchy fingers to start chopping but I'll hold off for a few more days at least.

I went ahead and put them back on their buckets to get more light to see if that help them along.

The 4th and 5th pics are the Kali's

Nice pics. I'm just harvesting some white russian myself, i've found it takes its time, mine seem to be ready around the 9 to 10 week mark.

hi bro, you cant go wrong with serious seeds. i will try next time kali mist or ak47 from serious seeds. it is the best seed bank.did you do top, fim or lst your plants?

Sry for the late response. I have 7 in there but I could have fit a few more if I raised the filter up and got rid of the oscillating fan.

They are in 5 gallon pots. As you can see from the pics, the pots have a good distance between them so I'm sure someone with small commercial aspirations could fit many more in there if they wanted to.

I topped all 7 with no training whatsoever. I just wanted to get a solid first grow under my belt then I'm giving scrog a try next time.
