...I'd hit it!! :D The bent neck is kEwL...LOL!! and you can't go wrong w/the colors either...Nice pickup!!

Mrs.Babba
That's a nice chillum you got there...'bout time you posted some of your glass :D..hehe..The coloring and "worked" push are very nice...

What is push? It would be helpful if you would provide a list of the proper terms and there meanings.

Hello OldTroll :joint:
...This may be of some help to everyone interested in glass...Yes, This was copied and pasted, or plagiarized...if you will...to benefit those of you that are curious...I certainly learned a bit more after reading some of these descriptions and technical terms...

A push
Referring to the depression inside a slide/bowl.

A punch
Punch - The hole in the bottom of a bowl/slide

Stuff and puff
Used for puting color on the inside of a vessle of clear. blowing the color into the inside of the clear tube

D-Cuts
Used when refering to a diffuser. it stands for diamond cuts. small slits are made at the bottom of the downtube. it was made by using a diamon cut dremel piece, thus the name

Bushing diffuser
A glass on glass downstem which reduces the normal joint size to a smaller one. a bushing diffuser is typically 18mm to 14mm, 18 being the male joint which slides into the pipe, and the 14 being the female joint. bushing diffusers create a lower profile because they eliminate the need for a bubble between the male and female joints on a downstem (if the joints are the same size)

Bistabil
Refers to a joint which is made 52% thicker than the standard joint

Inline
Refers to a "sideways stem" in the piece found in ashcatchers and bongs, the stem normally has d-cuts or piercings throughout

Stemless/Natural
A bong or bubbler that has percolates without the use of diffusers, stems, or tubes. Instead they use commonly use natural shapes, such as U or V shapes where the bottom is filled with water and smoke travels from one end down, through the water and up the other end. Possibilities for stemless designs are nearly endless.

millis (murrine)
are often used as a chip with a magnifying lens of clear over it, then attached to a piece or something. An implosion is named for the technique used to create it, a tube implosion...drawn on the outside of the end of a tube, then melted in so when looked at from teh other side, its really 3d and often looks like the color/pattern/writing or whatever is blooming out from the center..ill try to find example pics of each. honeycomb is used often to describe clear dotting encasements over various other glass..most often resulting in a honeycomb looking pattern.

Basketweave/Patchwork
Its when flat cane is made by either a wonderful press made by marcel or some graphite
cut up into little chips of cane and arranged in varrying patterns to make what looks like a weaved basket or patches worked together
thar she blows

Fuming
Sublimating silver and gold onto a piece which changes color with use
a fumed chaos marble

Retti/Rettichello
A design of two opposing spirals layered on one another

Lattichino
Twisted cane common in production inside out pieces

Reversal
A piece of custom tube, either stick stack or i/o, has been pulled, slightly twisted or manipulated, and then the axis has been reversed to create the tribal patterns we call wig wags.

Hope this helps some of you to understand more about what you're looking at...it sure helped me a bit...

Anyway...Hope everyone is getting ready for another kickass weekend!!...
...and to start things off...This came in Thursday morning to make my day a little more enjoyable...

Hope you cats and dogs enjoyed!!

was that a copy and paste list from TC?

if it was i'm surprised "window" isn't on that list

Yes sir...
Please feel free to add to it Mr. Tony...I'm not really sure how to explain it properly in technical terms..LOL... There are many terms not listed here, I just used the ones that were readily available...

edited to add...the term window, or "bitch window"...was described via a picture...I know it is a layered pattern w/one pattern over another w/ a window to see both patterns?...correct?...Like what is pictured in the middle disk of my bubbler pictured above...

But yet your first post is to AGAIN pick at my glass....

Actually there are 2 sets of 4 holes in the downstem... lol ''

So that is a double quad diffused downstem.....

I know the difference between this and the beaker I have with the 2 triple tree perks! ( by the way, those triple trees are triple diffused....) lol

it doesnt matter how many slices it has, its just a diffused downstem, i could see it being a quad if it had 4 downstems

Jeez Louise! Ya'll are pretty darn picky about how I describe my glass....

Smoke a bowl.

Chill... what difference does it make how I describe the holes in a downstem? It's a valid description.

but if it's still all in the same chamber of water it's still only 1 x diffused.

just because your tree perc has 3 arms doesn't m ean that specific chamber is 3 X diffused.

Yeah I don't mean to sound like an ass but sometimes lola your just spewing bullshit. I'm more than happy to give you a little run down of glass info, but every-time i do you just get fucking defensive.

Just like how growers have their specific terms for what they there is certain lingo for glass.

Yes, I do get defensive. It is because you sit on your throne of glass and sneer at other people's accessories.

I have yet to post a pic in this thread without Mr. Tony giving me some kind of snide comment.... My glass is not good enough, I am wrong about this, I don't say the diffuser is right...

I really don't see what any of this has to do with me getting a new bong and wanting to post a pic of it.

Every time somebody posts anything other than some hand blown glass or a Roor, some people in this thread get their panties in a wad.

The number one thing I like about MY glass is that it allows ME to get HIGH.

I could care less about the Push and pull and drag coefficiency. If the hole in the bowl is big enough to get a poker in, I am happy...

Since this is a thread for posting pics of your pieces, I don't really need corrections on my glass term usage and uninvited commentary on how crappy my glass is... When I start posting in a Glass connosieur thread, correct me then.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it....
