Perfect example of getting screwed by the clubs.
100% markup is bad for patients and vendors.
Hopefully you can find better in your area.

I know how much fun this is supopose to be, but there is paying rent, taxes, wages - the utility bill - and did you know, - at least around here, business rates are like 3 time higher than residential utilitiy rates.

Then there is rip-offs and security and, and, and.......

oh and advertising and, and

and the phone

and internet

and

and

and

yand ya know, fun just costs more these days

The dispensary I last vended to will not mark up anything more then 30%.

An acquaintance of mine runs a dispensary.
$$$ hand over fist open 'til close.
Hardly any overhead.

When you sell weed for $175 an ounce to a club, you walk away feeling like a chump.

When you sell weed for $175 an ounce directly to someone who really needs it to get through the day, you walk away feeling great.

I know it's tough to move pounds the second way, but here's a way around that: grow an ounce at a time instead of a pound at a time. There, problem solved.

True dat.

Clubs don't need to be non- profits, but when the owners are driving Benzes - dat sucks.

There was a club that got ripped off yesterday in Boulder - cops caught the punks!

Hey friend. Looks good. If I were you I would do my best to trim it up nicely and get rid of any excess stem. A good job trim job goes a LONG way.

If I were you, I would start high and see what they're willing to give you.

Yeah that trim jobs a little hacky isn't it?? I asked for 4k at a couple places thinking just that, maybe it was a little high but why not start there? Is that high? 4k?

That looks like some outdoor?
$1800/pound for something like that where I'm at.

4k is a perfect starting point for what you got.

Great, glad to hear that. I wouldn't want to start off on the wrong foot with dispensaries. It is nice that they are there.

One guy did ask me if I did consignment. I just see so many bad scenarios playing out from that. I get ripped off, or he gets ripped off or shut down then I get screwed. Creates tension between us maybe? And it's not like what I can provide for him is poor and wont sell, right? Is the fact that he's asking for consignment shady?

It's done in a greenhouse with hydro nutes, tea, couple other things, lights.

My area is somewhat affluent, you might say. Think maybe I can ask for more because of that?

22-2500 this time of year...your out of your mind if you think thats bringing in 4 in Cali. Goodluck

where i am/in the circle i work with greenhouse grown is usually lumped into the 'outdoor' category unless it is really primo goods... and even then its not gonna get the numbers of indoor. and it shouldn't as sunlight is free.

thats maybe 3-32 brought down to socal (thru 2-3 hands of course)

hey i have no ideaaa what it can fetch. I threw out a price based on what I see at clubs, what I need to cover my costs, what they would sell it for, comparing it to the quality that they charge top price for, lowest price, mid. Clubs charging 60 n 1/8th are pulling in about 7700 bucks. Now, since I can't attest to exactly how much any club might be selling, I can't really guess how much that profit means to them. So say they charge 45 an 1/8 for my stuff thats still about 1800 for them. Is that poor?

Thats them selling to over a 100 people---128 eighths. Would you deal with over a 100 people for 1800 bucks? I have no clue the inner workings of a club but my guess is that they want much more of a mark up then that.

Having grown indoor, and greenhouse, really...there's no difference in the quality. A greenhouse done well, mind you. It is all strain dependent I think. That cheese is a bit airy for my taste TBH. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference between an aero/nft grown bubba indoor job with co2, the works...and something grown in a greenhouse. Well, atleast I can say I wouldn't be able to tell, and I'm willing to venture that the greenhouse job may taste a little better w/ the organics...but really gotta say aero does a good job there too.

ya I can see what you are saying there, but also they don't always give you a break on ounces, so they may sell the ounces and thus deal with fewer people. But that is a good point and I hadn't thought about it that way. ok so they sell it for 55 xD
