Mark Kirk just recently received a divorce. He claims he has unsealed the records, but they remain sealed.

Also, please note, no one who has been divorced has ever really attained high political office in this country. It still remains a stain, politically. As a result, Mark Kirk is trying to polish his image to ward off inquiries into his personal life.

I would have divorced his ass too

because you cant just take another hit or two of the 14% mj and consume just as much thc....

because we all know higher concentrations of thc means its just that much easier to overdose....

because congress has nothing better to do...

because law enforcement agencies have so much excess money to invest in equipment and training for the tests...

I could keep going....

Maybe they could take some of the people they bust in each county and let them be the official "Koosh" potency testers as a form of community service to work off some of their 25yrs....HaHaHa.....

it will cost well over a million dollars to keep just one person in prison for that long... is Illinois really doing that well, that they can throw away that kind of money? and that's just the $$ part of it.... theirs also the huge ethical problem with this.

That's like giving you more jail for a DUI if you are drunk on whiskey instead of beer.

This guy is from the Abbot Lab and Baxter pharm area. He recently was in China telling them they should not believe what our treasury says about backing up our debt. Asshat.

Recent divorce, so he's trying to save the world or something. Actually he is considering a run for Governor or US Senate they say, and this is a ploy to get the religious black community church voting block, government employee unions, and law enforcement, which all have huge power. Peeling them away from the Democrats they typically back is Kirk's only hope for getting higher office.

Roosevelt University in Chicago just released a study that showed 100% Democrat controlled Illinois is arresting and locking up more people for simple possession than for drug dealing unlike almost all other states. And we all know a lot of possession charges are automatically upped to dealing.

Throw in the medical marijuana bill from Illinois that would INCREASE penalties for cannabis possession in Illinois for 99.99999% of the population with this new federal legislation and the Democrats and Republicans BOTH would have Illinois residents facing the toughest cannabis criminal laws in the US and most of the world. Got to keep them campaign donors happy.

Seriously people, we see how idiotic Kirk's proposal is. Now go find me one prominent elected Democrat in Illinois that has a counter Kirk's legislation with any comments whatsoever. Go find one Illinois Democrat that is publicly opposed to this legislation.

There is your problem with our Iran style two party monopoly system and those that continue to support it.

25 years huh? that's less than you could get for murder. sooo....

why not just murder mr. kirk if this legislation passes? leave a public note on the internet to encourage others to do the same. might make these asshats think twice about committing crimes against the american public.

who knows... you might even be able to flee and avoid extradition by claiming to be a political prisoner ;)
