I was wondering if its even possible to buy seeds or cutting of the real genuine g13? is that possible? do any of the seed dealers carry the real thing?

by "real genuine" i assume you mean from the US Federal Medical Marijuana Program. The alleged variety from this institution kept only clone form and any available hybrids are usually those crossed with a passive indica. I currently grow a G-13 variety from Mr.Nice selected for G-13 traits.

Neville had a G13 Clone.
From what I'm told,the Dronkers did NOT get a copy of the G13 Clone (it had been lost by then) by the time they bought Neville out,but they did get G13/Hash Plant seeds-which are the basis for their "G13/HP" they sell today.
Sensi's current G13/HP is nowhere near the G13/HP that Neville sold in the late 80s...
Imo Sensi did WAY too much careless cross-fucking without selecting for traits,& that equaled far inferior seeds....A shame,the Old School G13HP was kickass,and the pure "Hash Plant" of Neville's was awe-inspiring,even by today's standards....
His The Seed Bank sold a G13/Hashplant hybrid and a G13/NL hybrid,that was it.
Shantibaba has whatever Neville had left,for G13 genes,and with it,he did the G13/Skunk hybrid. Ask over at the MNS forum here,or search it there and see what you find.
Take it from me,"G13" isn't any Big Whoopee-it's almost mythological,but Cinderella 99,Sour Diesel,SFV OG Kush or Chemdog easily wipe the floor with it,as do most "modern" hybrids.

Their "G13" male is,I believe,from a male that Soma has used extensively,and passed around Amsterdam,as well....Adam from THSeeds is good friends with Soma,so the "G13" in question is most likely his-
The story goes that Ed Rosenthal gave Soma two "G13/Haze" seeds,and the one seed that germinated,was a male.
That's it.
No authentic lineage,just a story....But a passable,haze-y male,it is,indeed.

For once I agree wth REZ....I do have some G13/SK I F2 d to hunt for G13 plants. From Shanti's personal collection is orgin.

I'd love to know which Haze male Neville used to match up with the G13 cut, was it the now deceased HazeA, or the HazeC which is also used in SSH, NHS, Mango Haze? (C?+A?), Afghan Haze, ASH, Neville's Haze (C+A) etc (or maybe a completely different Haze male Neville had kept by)?

any G-13 hybrid is about as good as any Amsterdam Indica hybrid. Big buds, high resin content, generic taste and flavor. Don't be taken in by any hype names, grow herb that you have smoked before and have an affinity for. If you are in a conscious community clones (or seeds) should be available of local varieties.

IMO the real cut is easily some of the most potent med bud avail... and tho people doubt
i've had some sensi mr nice that came close to the ole miss cuts. though those are just about impossible to come across, i rec trying sensi's mr nice just bc a couple pheno's i got out of there were true medical bud.

well... I met 1 of the 8 legal goverment patients...i.e...his tins of rolled JOINTS..after 24 years he has 7 seeds...and all of them in his opinion are worthless...compared to todays hybrid medical cannabis.
what about that b.c. jedi...??

It is a shame what sensi has done. I knew a guy that at one time had the old school HP that Rez is talking about, and it was awesome. I have never seen another HP that came close. He also had an old school super skunk, and the gnarliest garlic bud I have ever seen. All of them came from mid to late 80's a-dam seeds. From what I have seen none of todays offering by the same name even compare. The SS wreaked of skunk, and had huge amber glands. The garlic bud made you think about Italian food. When he quite he offered me his clones, but I had no place to grow. I was 16 at the time, and still at home. He literally just finished his last run, and composted the moms. I am still sad about that!

The SS from sensi i got now is exactly how you described reeks of skunk and has massive swollen calyx's i love it,,, smoking it as i type...!!

what page in the Big Book of Buds 3 does it mention Neville's uses the HazeC male?, i've got the Big Book of Buds 1+3 and never noticed it in the book?, it most likely is correct that HazeC was used but in order to believe it 100% i'd need to hear it from Shanti as Ed Rosenthal who writes the Big Book of Buds series is well known for feeding false/incorrect information within these books - for example he states the make up of Neville's Haze is:
"Haze x Mystery Indica" (Big Book of Buds 1, page 110)
when infact Neville's Haze is:
NL#5xHazeA x HazeC
he also says about Neville's Haze:
"this is a variety for those with the patience to wait the full 10 weeks required for a proper finish"
the thing is if a new medical patient/grower was to see this claim, start growing out the pack of Neville's Haze and realise that it won't finish in 10 weeks but infact more like at least 17-21 weeks till fully ripe it'll cause quite a shock,
don't get me wrong i love reading these books, some pretty nice pics etc but it's far from gospal tho
