Well, here we are- a new year and a new garden. Been tons of work, as I've done most of the setup myself but am finally getting to sit back and watch them grow. This is a legal medical garden, I feel so lucky to be doing this. The times they are a changing
Most have been in a month or so, with a few recently planted to replace some that were trying to flower. Have a bunch of strains, too many, but we'll see what does well and focus next year on just a few. Big thanks to those who've helped me to aquire these girls. Posting from my phone as there's no internet out here so I hope everything comes out alright. They are all in 300 gallon planters made from field fence and covered in landscape fabric...seem to be working out well. Soil mix is about 60% greenwaste compost, 20% sandy silt, and 20% black 'dirt' all delivered from the local landscape guy. Each planter has about 2 bags of perlite and some also have coco mixed in. I amended the mix with bone meal, blood meal, fish meal, greensand, oyster shell lime, glacial rock dust, and soft rock phosphate. Supplementing with Peaceful Valley's Omega line and lots of compost tea. I doubled up the support cages to hopefully support the entire plant. On with the show...
