Just finished some, 2nd round.
10 seeds, 3 females, 1 herm.
I had heard this too, I can tell you, it's not the Master Kush that I have had here in SoCal, but it'll do.
I have had POG also, and maybe it's just me, the way I grew it, or pheno, but it's not that either.
It's decent, but nothing spectacular.

Those are very skunky, slight pepper tinge to them, sticky, and taste allright. Kinda mediocre high, not too stony, not too much sativa either.

The herm does have more of a goldenish hue to it. Tastes like sour lemon, but it will sweeten as it cures, as it did last time I am sure.

YEah, didn't nirvana use the reverse order though? Like the original POG the skunk was a male and the hindu was the female or vice versa, and nirvana made it the opposite? Is that right?

I don't know for sure, but here is the description from the horse's mouth:
First called High-Rise, Master Kush was developed in one of the tall buildings of south Amsterdam. Instantly the coffeeshops fell in love with this special new tetraploid. Through popular demand, this Hindu Kush/ skunk hybrid was stabilized and marketed. It has been a classic ever since. A strong plant of medium height and bushiness, Master Kush is a heavy producer with soil, hydro, and has great greenhouse results. The earthy smell of Master Kush is strong and the smoke is smooth.
So I think that is where folks are getting that it is similar to POG. Doesn't say anything about it being a Master Kush x skunk, the way I read it says it's Hindu x Skunk.
i dunno much about Nirvanas version but i have some GN Golden Skush im going to run later
and ive run Pot Of Gold once and even though i only had one female i was very satisfied with it, except that is is really prone to mold so keep that humidity low and a good airflow
i popped 11 TFD pog beans
7 germinated
1 female and 6 males! ( ive heard others had same male rates with it )
but the female was good
almost no branching so perfect for SOG
very high yield and big dense buds and potency above average
taste is a little earthy and nothing special, but its not bad either
my female mother didnt survive as clone but i picked a good male and im still keeping him for later breeding porpuses
later im letting him do his job om the Golden Skush
if lines are different from the skunk#1 and Hindu Kush used in the POG version than it should be vigerous instead of just being an f2, but time will tell
reason for still keeping that POG male is also to make some cool high yielding crosses with him against my female clones
dusting him to double dutch, fat russian, exodus cheese, amnesia haze, sssdh, sweet skunk and others are bound to make some really sweet outcome
also later use him to dust some early nordic genetics like early dane, danish passion, royal dane, leb 27 and others will give the outdoor growers some really nice, potent high yielding crosses to play with next season

but rather an f1 that was being breed more to an ibl
could mean its more stable than GS or POG but also maybe less vigorous

I dunno, I just think they pulled the description out their ass. It's not stable, each female I had expressed completely different phenos, and of course the one was a hermie. I think it's just something completely different altogether. Nothing special, just weed you know. But it's not MK, nor POG. Their breeding says otherwise I guess, but it's just not anything like the MK or POG that I have had. I would say that if you are after either of those 2 types, look elsewhere. IF you are after some seed to learn on, that you can maybe get a decent keeper from, and you aren't caught up w/ it being MK or POG, then go for it. Nirvana's MK was the first plant that I really grew, and learned on. I smoking it right now, and probably will be for the next several months, and it's decent.
yo IE2KS did you say you got nirvana master kush? is that the pics you posted the 1st time? i got 6 of these beans from a friend along with a few aurora indica and im trying to figure out what i will see when i pop them

YEssir that's the pics, Nirvana MK, 2 of 4 different female that I got outta 10 beans. I actually ordered the AI as well when I got them, only 1 female, hermie. So yeah, my first ever seed purchase I got 3 females outta 20 seeds and 2 hermies. Glad that's outta the way. But apparently I just needed the 1 good one, that's what I got now. It's done fine and I hope it has a few more left in her. Getting ready to take some clones tonight, hoping to get a hanful in to flower in a few weeks, then some satori and hashberry coming in behind them. Good luck w/ your seeds, pop all of them hell. Let me know if you have any questions, I just know enough to be dangerous but I'll help if I can, and if I can't I'll tell you I have no fucking idea lol.

thanks for hanging around bro, wanted to ask about hashberry its been so interesting to mee but ive seen a few people that get hermies with them, good growers you know. the buds look fantastic, they look like that MK with some fruityness. Anyway let me know your experience with mandala!!! im gettin either hashberry or speedqueen! im looking for an ideal cash cropper but also with good potency. Hey no problem. You know BobbleHeadJed has run both hashberry and speed queen, you may wanna drop by his log. I have my mandala gear in the 2nd link in my siggie, they are just vegging right now though nothing too exciting yet. I did get just about every hashberry had some weirdness mutation, so I dunno what'll happen w/ those we'll see. I probably won't have a flower log going on those for a little while, I will post a link in my siggie though when I start it. Again good luck to ya and I will see you around.
