Alright peoples.....just made the plunge.....drumroll please:

SUPPMKTRIMP.jpg

Yes, it's a a bit much for my modest harvest. However, upon talking with a few distributors and individuals that have used a variety of automatic trimmers, I was convinced this was the right one. Should be here in a few days...just in time for the next haul! Now this makes a much larger room even more feasible to accomplish solo...hint...hint.

Sick machine :woohoo: Trim that bush m8

holy shit dude... I guess if you figure your time, labor-wise, in hand trimming by the hr, depending on yields it could pay for itself in no time... kinda curious as to just how loud those things get anyway... If you don't mind me asking, how much did that model set you back?

Kallen: I think it could potentially be used as a PRIMARY sifter bag....just to get rid of large leaf material..but of course you'd want the really small holes to get the magic going!

Foothills: About $1800 clams. And yeah...it's a time/lazy thing. With this jimmy there's really no excuse to not "get to it" and get 'r done. Plus, as I eluded to...it would be a nice jumping off point for a much larger setup someday...somewhere....
I know there's some scissor snobs freaking the F out over the thought of trimming nugs with anything automated......but I've seen a few threads and have talked with more than a few people that have demonstrated it's not destructive to the buds....
There's always going to be an issue with calyxes getting handled rough...but that can happen with hand trimming also.

the amount of time that would save me would be insane bro...i wouldnt worry about the way they might look a little different and yo,i could always pick up some scissors if i felt motivated....next gift to self....peace-T-

1800 isn't that bad man... the only reason I'll be trimming with scissors is because I can't warrant the expense... once I get out of the red from my initial investments, I can assure you some artificial assistance will be acquired... I am still rather interested as to how this will do in regards to sound... I heard they can be pretty startling to the untrained ear. nice purchase none the less, even though I'm a bit surprised no one in the f.a.m. has tried a DIY-type of thing... :joint:

Great purchase Access. I think you'll be very pleased. Trimming sucks.

Tona - Take the plunge too and get one. I fall in love with mine more each harvest.

I love my Trimpro Automatik.

:dueling: Hardy har har..:friends: guess I had that comin, seeing as how I scarred you all for months! :nanana:

Lapi..thats enough outta you too! :friends:

access oh access..really? I mean I'm not a scissor purist or anything but I can't believe you bought that high end machinery!
I guess it's a good thing though, if you are going to have something bigger down the road. I just see it as the space that takes up, you could have a bonsai mom/cloning chamber, knowing that space is at a premium there.
But have fun with it, I know you will!

Oh cellar puhleaze! The space it takes up:laughing:? It's a 1.5 foot by 1.5 foot square! And the legs come off so in storage it takes up a 1.5 foot cube.

I'm telling you all, and Access will tell you soon too - scissors < trimpro.

More time to do the things you REALLY love to do. Trimming pot with scissors is tantamount to toenail torture for me.

That is true. But he'll still be stuck for hours trimming when he could be playing Halo. Or cleaning out that damn cloner of his :D
