No, Im on deans list. one class I got a C in but it only dragged my average from a 4.0 to 3.7. OH and I got a b that same term. I really hated those 2 classes. otherwise every other term ive been a's.
so obviously its not about how smart you are, you were probably just not interested so you didnt do your work.(total guess and Im stoned and trying to make sense lol)

I need to find the school that a C only drops yer score from a 4.0 to a 3.7, all things considered.

To the OP, pulling a D is shitty when yer trying to have things come in solid across the board. Pick up the slack in the classes that typically bring yer grade down next time to cover for the dip you take, should help level things off a bit.

that is what they make late drop credits for

then, after you run out of late drop credits, you can start saying "fuck it" and taking the F's, because you realize the professors are asses and you would rather take an F than listen to the bullshit for an entire semester.

I almost miss college, almost.

if you go to class, smoke a little bit of weed and pay attention, write things down...have an assload of time on your hands...and friends who willingly cheat...then yes, college is easy.

when you have to balance a part time OR full time job, along with kids, other expenses, relationships, family, friends...it's practically impossible. most people barely scoot by when they are put in these situations. those who make it through such difficult situations...congrats man. i dont know how you did it, or why you did it, but congrats. lol

i went to college for a semester. dropped out because i couldnt afford it or get a loan for the following semester, got a job working at a retail .com store and that got me to my current job working for a cable provider...which has good benefits, job security, good pay - even though the position i'm in absolutely sucks and management hates life and me...

i say, fuck school. fuck restricted education, fuck forced education, and fuck the general population who agrees with that fact that if you don't go to school, you're a fuckin' idiot.

lol, lotta fucks up there

educate yourself after highschool. its better:

- you learn at your own pace
- you grasp concepts easier
- much less stress
- $0

given you have to get certified in certain things sometimes, most "colleges" are a ripoff and waste of time.

Person A with no degree can learn and know as much as Person B with a degree, even doctors, scientists, etc. Sad fact is in reality jobs that pay $ want the degree.

And simply....sometimes people just want to live off the grid. Away from society, or Away from the government...or work for themselves. All ideas are creative and awesome in their own sense, but society still has its prejudices.

This post reminds me of michael moore's ''sicko'',
I feel for you americans who have to pay astronomical amounts for an education, health service and God knows what else.
All my life I wanted to visit america for a year or 2 but not any more.

I could probably get a job(if ppl were hiring around here grr) just based on what i've learned in my graphic design program so far, but its a personal goal to finish with a degree. I have 2 degrees now and am continuing till I receive my 2nd bachelors. I dont see the point in starting something you're not going to finish.

and I agree, smoke a little before class, get your mind open, take notes.

I'm gonna start at community college in the fall, 15 week course, I become a phlebotomist. 13-16 bucks an hour depending on whether I wanna work in a blood donation place or a hospital. Stoked on that.
