The Official 1 sqft Challenge

Starting up the old micro soon, going to build a micro scrubber, 70watt hps + 4 x 20watt 2700k cfls, 150watt, bang on for the rules.
1.3 square foot, 2.4 cubic feet.
115watt per sq foot
Going to use 11cm square pots, 9 plants, CFL and HPS mix is going to work very well i presume.
Upgrading the vent, to a 110cfm 120mm pc fan, with 3 80mm pc fans inside the cab blowing at the bulbs, and a 120mm pc fan blowing down onto the plants.
12/12 from rooted clone, since the strain is going to have abit of stretch in flower, should end up pretty close to the bulbs at finish, if stretch looks out of controll ill just pinch the stems beteen the nodes abit, keep em alittle squatter.

Very impressive...we can all learn something from this dude...this is how to maximize efficiency using fluorescent lighting.Cant wait to see more pics!

We've past the end date of the 1st Competition (15th May) - where is the Organic Monk???
Who won?
Did anyone beat my 35g dry manicured bud or 175gram wet weight?
In any case, the winner should be able to add "Winner of the 1st Official 1 sq ft Challenge" to their signature.
This thread should keep going and as there are still people getting their cabs set up, we should have a new end date in 6 months time???
I'm growing on my patio now, so I wont be entering until the winter, unless I get challenged
I'm forcing flowering so the tiny cab is great for whenever I'm out partying to keep lighting shedules correct. I can put a girl in there and party all weekend without the worry of bringing her inside at 6pm every night!
Temps have beary reached 60F so the outdoor buds are undersized and are actually smaller than growing under a single 85w indoor with optimum temps.

This isn't a contest, it's a challenge and it is on-going, so there is no winner or loser.
This thread was stickied with the intent of it being a thread people can continually join and/or add to. There really isn't an 'end date' anymore.

Spectrum any including UVB lamps
Cab:
Under 1.5 sqft
Hight Max is 3 1/2ft
Must have all sides top and bottom and may not be transparent
Method of Growing:
Any as long as its one time veg and one time harvest
Clone or Seed either is fine
Start: Jan 15th
End: May 15th

MY foot print is 1.9 sq ft, but my height is about 2.1 ft (vs your 1.5 sq ft footprint and 3.5 ft max height). Your volume is 1.5 sq ft X 3.5 ft = 5.25 cu ft. My volume is 1.9 sq ft X 2.1 ft = 4 cu ft.
I think that my cab having less volume than the requirements qualifies me, don't you think? By the way Ringmaster, what do I get when I win? Oh yeah, I'm using a 150 HPS with a couple of CFL's. You can't beat SSH, coco and GH. No pics yet until I figure out to remove ID info from my digital pics and up my post count. Not a Newb but a lurker, yes.

and mines about 2cubic foot, and i can beat you in this challenge simply because your over the hps/cfl reqs
gonna flower 6 clones soon, not for compitions sake but simply because ive not flowered anything in a while.
big bag of bagseeds to pop untill i find the one that loves my micro.
so does it have to be your whole cabinet?
i use 4 modular scrog screens each 1 foot square under a 250hps
so each screen gets 62.5 watts
heres a square foot of sharksbreath at 61 days
dont know how much it weighs yet but i'll bet its gonna be a couple of oz at least.
