yo katoic i think you and me are mixed up. You got a piece worth of my beasters and i got glass worthy of your headies, lets trade nugs, HAHA! Seriously man, that shit is hanus. lol.

Yes it's hanus but it's the best work bowl you can have. I have a glass piece but it's nothing special. I actually like my homeade pipe better, I've been using it for 5 years. I had to cut it in half to clean it thats why it's taped up.

That's a Bocote bowl with a Rosewood stem. Wood lathe is possibly the funnest tool ever.

I'll take one in Bocote and Ebony :p

Wood is one of the mediums I have always wanted to work with... would love to one day build my own bass guitar... love beautiful wood work :abduct:

Check these out...I know you'll appreciate them...a guy on TokeCity makes them :)

WOW, thanks for that. Now those got my brain churning.

I don't even know what tool makes those, let alone how you glue that many pieces together without going insane.

Here is my piece. I assume it's a safe piece of brass to smoke out of. If you want it just go to Home Depot and pick up the 3 pieces ($5) in the plumbing aisle. Unfortunately you often suck chunks of ash etc.. until the resin closes the hole or it collapses.

Sorry for pic quality

I've met that guy in person and gotten to handle a couple of his super nice bubs, they are insane.

Lucky...

Would kick Oprah in the throat for one.

Wouldn't ever use it though lol...

@Tony Danza - I don't even know if he uses glue... i've been thinking the pieces are just wedged together perfectly...holding it all together...

I know they are functional and i'm assuming safe to use...

Been really curious about it actually.. :p

That double perc ZOB piece looks nice, i never knew they made perc'ed tubes all of the ones I've seen were small beaker bottoms.

This piece my buddy made for me. I remember when we first talked about the idea of making a wooden bong that wasn't the old bamboo shoot style. Well I moved away and went back to do our annual camping trip a few years later and he pulled me aside and pulled this baby out.

Its a wooden bong made of cherry and walnut woods. The neck and stem are Cherry and the base is walnut. In the pictures you'll see the bong comes apart into 3 pieces. We opted not to stain this piece as to keep it natural and toxin free. No stain/sealant means it has to be oiled after each use which means its more of an art piece but it smokes like a dream.

Awesome :D It's like the revival of wood pipes...I might just have to go buy a nice tobacco pipe... they always have such pretty work in a cigar shop not far from me..

I figured out how to make dichro in photoshop lol... If anyone is familiar with photoshop, i'll just say I found the one use for the Dissolve Layer Type... ;)

Click it for detail.. ;s

I want a tobacco pipe too, it would be kinda stealthy so you could even smoke it on the street or whatever...

Does anyone use one and how is it (for weed) and what kind of maintenance is required? How about if the bowl is made from meerschaum?
