So I recently got the whole Organicare line from my buddy who got me a good deal on it!!! I haven't seen many people using it around here so I thought I'd start this thread. I had seen the additives before like Seaplex,Nitrex, Fulvex, ect so that's all I was expecting to get but I was shocked to see that there is a 1part Grow 3-2-3 and a 1part Bloom 2-4-5 and Boost 0.1-0.1-0.1 so I'm SUPER EXCITED!!! I've had great results with GH Flora Nova line but my pal Its420 says that Pure Blend Pro gives the same results with a MUCH better taste so this system of Organicare nutrients should give me some nice tasting buds this summer..

I guess Fulvex and Humex have been changed to Huvega and Humega which was good to know cuz I thought I was going to need to go out and buy those so I'd have everything but I already do and I have a 5lb bag of the PURE dry fertilizer..

I'm going to be using this nutrient system with Roots Organics Coco Fiber Soilless Media so if anybody else is already doing something similar I'd love to hear what rate you mix your nutes for coco :joint:

Interesting... I just searched around through google and I can't find ANYTHING about the Organicare Grow Bloom and Boost!!! They must be BRAND NEW to the grow community!!!

Edit - They are in fact BRAND FUCKING NEW!!!! I only know one other person that got hooked up with this new line so we are going to find out when it will be available for purchase. I'm pretty sure the additives are out but I haven't seen the Grow Bloom and Boost yet so I'm STOKED!! I'll let you all know how it goes I'm starting out a new row using this nutrient system tomorrow so stay tuned...

IM so fucking jealous, im about to whore out on that line myself and i have not seen the bloom or boost in any of the advertisements ive been seeing, keep us updated.

I'm running the PBP line in the same exact soil mix. 1tsp/gal PBP Grow/Bloom, 2tsp/gal Liquid Karma, 1tsp/gal Cal/Mag, 1tsp/gal Blackstrap Molasses for feeding. 1/2tbs/gal Molasses every other watering. I have found flushing coco with just straight water promotes cal/mag deficiencies. Which is why I use the 1/2tbs molasses every other watering to flush. Works great. Don't know bout taste, but the smell of the 1 girl I got going with this regime smells like coffee with a hint of chocolate.

Have been wondering bout this line myself. Got this tagged....NOW ON WITH THE SHOW...LOL. PEACE

so im curious as to why only half the bottles say OMRI on them. I was under the impression that this line was to be used if you were trying to obtain organic certification, heres part of an email from american ag

I can only speak for my own personal opinion however I feel the CNS17 line of nutrients is our best mineral based line, and the PBP line for organic based needs. If trying to obtain organic certification I only use the Organicare line. With all of these I rely on my own knowledge and experience to determine feed rates and frequency versus feed schedules.
Please let me know if you have further questions or concerns.

Oh ya, dont use there feed schedule by the way, lol. And ya, none of this matters at all, omri dont mean anything, im just curious. More interested in how it works though, good luck with the stuff.

The reason they don't have OMRI on them is because they haven't been released yet.. Which sucks for me cuz I REALLY like this line and I followed the feed schedule on the bottles and my girls fucking LOVED it!!! So I'm going to write to Botanicare today and see when they plan to let stores carry the Grow Bloom and Boost

whats up thundurkel, glad to see you like the nutes. I have been using the aeration soil, humex, and the slow release grow and bloom granules and my plants absolutely love it! I have 8 different strains vegging right now and not one has a deficiency

I have a news update!!! You can purchase the Grow Bloom and Boost from the organicare website and it's www.organicareusa.com

I'm pretty sure this is the nute line up I plan to stick with since it's fully organic and relatively cheap and works great in coco!!!

They want $15 for a Qt bottle and $24 for a Gal!!! That's damn good pricing to me and I HIGHLY suggest you guys try this stuff out cuz like I said I never saw my plants so happy!

The stuff is not organic, it is "organic based."
It contains Ammonium Nitrate and more...

The Organicare grow/bloom is actually less organic then the PBP line.
A marketing ploy mostly.
Check the ingredients...

Pure Blend Pro:
Fish meal, composted sea bird guano, sea kelp, spirulina, soybean protein extract, rock phosphate, potassium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate,
Also Contains Non-Plant Food Ingredient:
humic acid, fulvic acid, citric acid, raw sugar cane, Agrimineral 72 (silica clay extract), amino acids, B-complex vitamins, and select botanical plant extracts.

Organicare:
Fish Meal, Composted Poultry Litter, Seaweed (Ascophyllum Nodosum), Rock Phosphate, Magnesium Carbonate, Calcium Carbonate, Ammonium Nitrate, Potassium Nitrate, Calcium Nitrate, Potassium Phosphate, Magnesium Sulfate.
Also Contains Non-Plant Food Ingredient:
0.01% Humic acid derived from leonardite, agrimineral 72, sodium silicate.

Good nutrients, just not organic and the end product (weed) should not be marketed as such.

Thanks bro I guess I should've checked the PBP more before I spouted off nonsense, looks like I'll run PBP with the Organicare supplements cuz my girls LOVE them! I'm going to have to do a side by side with the two and see which one comes out better cuz I was under the impression the Organicare line was supposed to be better than PBP and more organic and it's not from what you just showed me...

Calcium plays an essential role in plant blossom development and overall plant health. Key functions of calcium include cell production and growth, as well as aiding fruit yield, including tomatoes and peppers. Mild calcium deficiencies can appear as dark green foliage and very stunted growth, normally occurring first in new growth. Severe deficiencies can turn new growth into shriveled, off-colored, dead leaves before they have a chance to develop. Since most plants can absorb calcium at very high rates, you may need to replenish their supply from time to time with a calcium supplement like Calplex.

Humega™ is a biologically enhanced product that may increase the availability of micronutrients and buffer salts. Grow media that has been inoculated with Humega contains a large population of beneficial microorganisms which protect plant root systems from a variety of soil pathogens. The microorganisms process organic matter, and release nutrients to plant roots. Microorganisms are essential to the process of releasing bound elemental compounds.

Humega promotes soil and soilless substrate aeration and water penetration. Certain enzymes have been added to Humega, to help increase the rate of nutrient absorption and reduce nitrogen through the soil profile. Nutrients are stabilized in the Rhizosphere where they remain available over a longer period of time.

Humega is a liquid humus--a combination of natural, organic plant acids, including humic acid, in enzymatic microbial solution. In addition to being a soil conditioner with humic acid and enzymes, Humega also contains active microbial inoculants that enhance the populations of beneficial soil microorganisms.

Humega contains humic substances that enhance the rate of photosynthesis in plants. Carbon and humus build the soil profile, and balance soilless substrates by neutralizing pH and increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC). Mixing Humega with other fertilizers may increase their absorption rate by attaching them to carbon molecules which then helps increase their absorption rate.

Humega can be used for certified organic crop production as defined by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI).

* This report is meant to illustrate that Humega is not only a soil conditioner with humic acid and enzymes, but it also has active microbial inoculants that enhance the populations of beneficial soil microorganisms. It may be used in Organic Gardening applications, as defined by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI).

The nature of ionic minerals

Ionic minerals are low molecular weight humic substances with the unusual ability to provide multiple natural chemical reactions in the soil. Ionic minerals have high oxygen-hydrogen levels which have unique and positive influences on plant metabolic processes.

The ionic minerals in Huvega have an extremely high cation exchange capacity (between 500 and 1000) and a small molecular weight, which allows them to attract and hold nutrients and carry them directly to cell metabolic sites.

Ionic minerals mix with and attach to all types of materials, including both synthetic and organic chemicals. Ionic minerals are active at both high and low levels. Ionic minerals are polyelectrolytes with the ability to attach to toxins and heavy metals catalyzing the breakdown of toxic pollutants and scavenging heavy metals in soils and hydroponics solutions.

The origin of ionic minerals

Minerals are created from the oxidation of organic matter. Most ionic materials are a fracture of extracted humic substances from brown lignite. The oxidation process creates a product that has a high carbon and oxygen content and contains large amounts of free radicals due to the high amounts of oxygen-hydrogen groups. These groups are vital in the electron transfer, which is important to ionic exchanges.

* Homogenized to prevent separation
* 200 mesh screen filtration
* Water soluble for easy mixing

Exclusive trace minerals enhancement

Our trace minerals research ensures that Seaplex’s natural, potent mixture is enriched with a proprietary enzyme structure, along with a wide range of ionic minerals. These quality ingredients are processed into a rich, creamy liquid supplement that can be applied through any irrigation feed method.

The growth hormones in Seaplex are essential for cell division, root development, and bud initiation, making it a natural growth enhancer. Seaplex is also high in betain, a natural occurring amino acid derivative.

Amino acids

Seaplex has over 17 amino acids that are essential for increasing plant metabolism of trace minerals in the soil such as zinc, manganese, iron, boron, copper, cobalt and molybdenum.

Carbohydrates and polysaccharides

Alginic acid, mannitol and mannose sugars, all found in Seaplex, are natural chelating agents that release nutrients which are tied up in the soil or grow media. Oligosaccharides--a special class of carbohydrates--are essential for bud and flower formation, fruit set and fruit and flower yield.

Organic plant acids, enzymes and micronutrients

Seaplex’s unique formula combines organic plant acids, enzymes and over 72 minerals. These ionic minerals are natural plant nutrients essential to photosynthesis, elemental metabolism and cell formation. Ionic trace minerals, a natural electrolyte, are considered to be nature’s most effective chelating agents. Their high CEC rating and small size help carry nutrients directly to the plants metabolic sites.

Seaplex can be used for certified organic crop production, as determined by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI).

I know I already posted the seaplex stuff but figured it'd be nice to have them all in one post for you to read and others to see cuz I'm a huge supporter of this stuff compared to the all the other nutrients I've tried out which is Flora Nova, the Fox Farm Trio, Happy Frog Dry Nutes ect and so far my plants seem happiest with the Organicare line.. I am curious about the new organic line from GH though...

hello thundurkel,

I've been using the pure granular fertilizers with the organicare pure earth outdoor coco soil mix, I used humic acid, mag i cal, fish fertilizer and seaweed because I'm cheap. I didn't know they had the liquid ferts grow and bloom, I'll have to get some when they come out in the store. I used the fish ferts for grow and i'm using ff tiger bloom with sweet for bloom.

Are you using these nutes in your micro grow? I haven't lurked through your thread in awhile, have to check it out.

and here's the PBP Grow

notice how similar these are?? I don't get what the point of this Organicare Grow Bloom and Boost was if it's barely different they what they already had?? We'll see what the difference is soon when I side by side test them... :pumpkin:

I tried to 'splain to you it is a marketing ploy.
It is just branding a product lineup.
I am not saying/meaning anything negative about their performance/quality...
